Can we talk about Rodgers too? I've seen enough. He's making mistakes a rookie QB would make, it's obvious he can't throw deep down field anymore. All this talent around him and he misses easy throws. He's probably coming back next year so we're gonna need to draft a QB early and hope for the best in 2026.
I had a great day today. I got a lot done this afternoon, including trimming a tree that was overdue for a trimming. I missed the game...again. Apparently, I didn't miss anything.
I have to say, and not defending Saleh, but I don’t recall the D giving up on him once. It was mostly self inflicted wounds. To your point about the shitty environment, that has transcended a few coaches and GMs and goes way back. I get flamed some every time I bring that up, but Woody is at the heart of it. Was the last glimpse of some success for us when Rex was here but ownership once again messed up big time with the GMs?
Here is my observation on all games. , Every single time the game is on the line for a stop the defense lays an egg, All you need to do is watch the game and look at the D against any, and I mean any, QB with a small lead on our favor and we collapse. Embarrassing. We might not be the worst against metrics, but certainly the worst against win and losses..
It’s amazing that they made nothing Richardson who sucked all year and had a 30 percent completion rate his last game look competent,
They have no heart, that's what you are seeing. We've seen it with this group and staff every year around November.
How is this Joe Douglas' fault? Just because he traded JFM? This is on Jeff Ulbrich. If one guy is the difference between a great defense and a terrible one, than that's on the coaches.
This was “supposed” to be the year that the defense wasn’t on the field most of the game like in the last 15 years…
Why does everyone want to blame everyone EXCEPT Jeff Ulbrich? Douglas may not be a great GM, but this year is entirely on the coaches. There's more than enough talent to be a top unit even without JFM, Jefferson, and Huff.
because with those 3 and the same guy ulbrich the jets were a top 3 defense? How can the jets be good at defense when clemons and kinlaw could not start on a college team? If it aint broke don't fix it and Joe D has the bright idea to break it like the true moron he really is.
I agree our defense tends to choke near the end of games. The offense is still a much bigger problem overall though.
