Williams probably loves the Jets now. The Jets gave him $10 million, paid for injury rehab, and now he gets to play for a better team
I get that, but players don't perform and want to leave because we aren't good and are a clown show. We won't fix the first problem by keeping around players who don't want to play here or aren't good here. If we get the right players and get good, then this problem will take care of itself. I'm of the opinion that if somebody isn't directly helping the Jets win and do well, I have no interest in where they go and what they do. Plenty of talented players and coaches in the NFL. Find the ones who make the right team for you, and jettison the ones who don't. (now if only we could do THAT...)
Well, it seems as though it took the Steelers significantly less time to figure out how to properly use Mike Williams than the Jets did.
Also having a GM who is on the same page with his coaching staff and doesn't go out and get players who aren't going to fit into their scheme surely helps as well. You have to wonder if Douglas and Saleh/Hackett/Downing ever watched any film of Mike Williams or just said "hey, we've heard of him before. Sign him."
Following in the footsteps of Hardmen this just shows you that this team is clueless in every aspect of the game. I'll be rooting for Jets losses every week so Woody can be miserable in his lavish life FUCK HIM
Somehow Rodgers is not on the same page as all his receivers including Adams, now Mike Williams goes to a good franchise and gets a 32 yard game winning touchdown go figure, yet Mike Williams Was running the wrong routes sure
It actually was. Got something back in a throw away season. I mean that's really the story for the past decade...
Williams took a shot at his former QB Aaron Rodgers. Posting a picture of himself celebrating his game winning catch with the Steelers he used the hashtag "redline," a clear reference to Rodgers' post game blame he threw on Williams after his game losing interception on monday night football in october
