No they weren't. They are always in playoff contention due to the division they're in, and many expected Richardson to be a young star.
The fans that go to the game next Sunday need to make it a completely toxic atmosphere for the Jets. Boo at literally everything, starting with when they take the field and have introductions. Boo even when they do something good. Boo when they score. Be louder when the offense is out there with "Sell the Team" chants. It needs to be nonstop from before the game even starts until the final whistle, regardless of the score. Even if the Jets beat the Colts by 100, the booing and "Sell the Team" chants should continue and get louder, and louder, and louder.
The 2024 jets may be the most overhyped team in sports history, I never seen a team who got so much attention in a year and hype be so bad for real
There are a lot of clueless people betting on sports that just continuously hear the ridiculous lie that this is a talented roster and know that 4x MVP Aaron Rodgers is our QB. And Vegas is making tons of money on that cluelessness. Good for them, I guess. At least the Jets are benefiting somebody with their play.
What's the over/under for the number of no-shows for this one. As of Monday, it's supposed to be in the 60's and sunny on Sunday. The tailgating should be good.
Heck, that's taking a LOT of credit from Zach! LOL!! Richardson played, what, 13 games and lost most of em'! At least Wilson had a winning record! LOL You can't make this shit up with these teams and drafting QB's who haven't completed so much as a single NFL season...since HIGH SCHOOL! What did they THINK was going to happen? It's absolutely mind-boggling the level of stupidity. The minute the Colts drafted Richardson I said he wouldn't finish out his rookie contract. As it looks now, it could be just as much due to medical reasons as is his playing. He's a disaster. And he's not alone. So many of these kids.
