I'm encouraged now that he's still on the team after the deadline. We play some pretty crappy teams upcoming so he'll probably feast.
I think Will McDonald is emerging as the better player. Hope that continues, as he was the high draft pick and is thought to be the future.
Joe Douglas has blown the season, took him 9 games to realize Greg the pegleg sucks, totally mishandled the hasaan Reddick situation, let JFM go for nothing to free up cap space for Hasaan, Kept Baldy as coach while Harbaugh, Vrabel and Caroll were available, only for Woody to fire him anyways, all this has wrecked the season, can't just blame it on the kicker. Pegleg cost them 2 games about the other 4?
Truth is, this team should be talented enough to not have a missed FG or 2 cost them games. They should be converting touchdowns. It wasn't missed kicks that lost us those games, it was turnovers and tons of other mental mistakes / penalties. The Jets couldn't even punch it in with a first and goal FROM THE 2!
Anyone seen Hassan today? Seems like the defense got worse ever since “fuck you pay me Hassan” got paid
half his check should go to drew Rosenhaus for taking his stupid ass as a client after being dropped and convincing the dumbass jets to pay him like he didn’t miss half the season, I swear only the jets would do something so stupid and reward a out of shape player who didnt want to play for them in the first place like this.
Woody was in his owner's suite watching this today. You think he'd take his scrawny ass down to the Jet locker room and light up everyone?
no than he can’t wear his bling chain and tell his players that “thinking is overrated”. Woody is a lost cause at this point he doesn’t know how to hire competent people to run this franchise, and is to rich to sell the team, it took the wilpons a act of Madoff to sell the team, this won’t happen with the jets, we are stuck with woody and his brother for the next 30 years
He would if he had an understanding of what he was watching. Sadly, the only thing that will save us is a Dan Snyder-esque accusation against him that will force the sale of the team.
How would he even know that things are going poorly. He probably looks at the financial reports and sees the ever-increasing returns and wonders "what are these fans complaining about? this is going great!"
He would tell everyone that thinking is overrated and that they're doing an amazing job. Not to mention letting them know how they're the most talented team in the NFL (on paper)
Anyone remember when I was absolutely eviscerated in the off-season for saying this was a terrible trade? Pepperidge Farms remembers…
