Going to Diaz here worked out really well.

Really needed to temporarily neutralize the Dodgers offense and he has done that through 2 innings cleanly.

    Come on offense!

Loaded bases. 2 outs. Feels like it’s now or never.

That’s what a team that can drive home runners looks like. Incredible!

Not even sure why Senga made the post season roster. I wonder what this team is gonna look like next year. A lot of money coming off the books.

And that's the last pitch I will see until next spring.

Thankfully we had the Jets to serve as the greater disappointment today.

really enjoyable postseason run despite the way it ended. I really thought we’d win this series when we split in LA.

Juan Soto is clearly going to the highest bidder. I just don't think we should blank check him. Rumors of it needing to be 700M? Then nope! Even 600M for one player is ridiculous but that should be the line.

Yeah it's insane.... I don't blame players getting whatever they can (owners wouldn't pay if they weren't making it) but when you factor in the overpricing to attend games (the stupid stuff... $40 parking, $15 dollar beers, etc) its really becoming a turnoff. This applies to football even more.

No surprise at all, but congratulations to Francisco Lindor for winning his fourth Silver Slugger Award (2 with Cleveland [2017/2018] and 2 with the Mets [2023/2024]).

Sorry but I really hope we don’t get Soto. Let some other suckers give him an absurd contract that doesn’t make sense.

I can't help wondering how much the potential signings of Soto and Alonso could be related to each other. If they lose out on Soto to the Yankees, will they overpay Alonso as a consolation prize for the fans? If they decide that they're not going to give Alonso what he wants, will they overpay for Soto for the same reason?

To be honest, I would rather overpay for Soto than for Alonso, particularly since he's four years younger, but unfortunately the degree of overpaying isn't the same - they would probably have to give Alonso $40 - $50 million more than he deserves, but would have to give Soto $100+ million more than he deserves.
