I don't get the hate for GW. Yeah him and Rodgers were having some connection issues but I don't even know how much of that is Garrett's fault. He routinely makes great catches and is producing as a top receiver in the NFL. He was also great with the leagues worst QB the past 2 years. I don't see him checking out or anything either so don't know where that comes from. The only big miscue is that dropped pass against the Steelers that happened to bounce into a defenders hand and get returned a long way. It was a bad drop but the rest was just luck. This guy is one of the best receivers in the game and seems like a good dude who cares about winning. We're lucky to have him.
Seriously…honestly to me, this thread is kind of ridiculous GW is a very good receiver…top 15 sure and maybe better…he’s not as dominant physically like say a DK Metcalf is or someone who is just so huge, but his body control and suddenness and quickness are top notch. I would look to extend and lock him up as soon as possible.. I would like to see us actually KEEP our draft picks when we actually hit on them… This hate towards him makes ZERO sense to me
Please do - take any black uniform item the Jets have ever thought up and take them far away, never to be seen again.
The Jets need to seriously consider trading Wilson in the offseason because of how much return we will get for him, There is no way he resigns with this joke franchise and go thru the Zack Wilson experiment again, theres just no way, guy had like 9 quarterbacks throw to him since he got here. He is a goner soon as his contract is up, if we can get atleast 2 1sts for him in the offseason you seriously consider trading him, as we will be a terrible team next year to.
Couldn't agree more. He's not going to be a part of the team when they finally find their way out of the darkness, so might as well move him to a team where he can actually play meaningful football and we can get much needed draft capital to help the rebuild.
We aint keeping him he is gone soon as soon as his contract is up, you think he trusts the Jets to develop a quarterback for him or wants to be part of this clown show? So we either get a bunch of 1sts for him while we can or lose him for nothing in 2 years, after Rodgers retires he is going to demand a trade anyways because he won't want to go thru the Zack Wilson experiment again
