Soto’s an excellent DH in the outfield.

Outside of a blowout it's been worse case scenario.

Dodgers and teams of that caliber handled the Yankees all season. Royals and guardians were an easy path in.

They can score 3 runs. They just need to wake up

Other than hitting, starting pitching and defense the Yanks are okay.

Thought Nestor should’ve started this one to be honest. He is the Ohtani killer.

Love having Soto here, and hope he stays . But when the addition to your rotation is Marcus freaking stroman, there’s a big problem. Seems like the only thing the Yankees are interested in is regular season home runs in a small park to sell tickets. Getting this far is gravy.

Had to send Stanton there but damn, I knew off the bat he was gonna be dead at home.

34 years old and maybe the most physically fit player in the league. Built like a Greek god. Runs like Kris Jenkins.

I get Stanton being slower than most 6 year olds, but that was an absolute perfect throw to get him.

His speed was always going to bite us.

I think he would’ve been fine if he didn’t almost come to a complete stop at 3rd because it looked like it was first time ever rounding a base.

Yeah one hundred percent. Stanton is a liability if he doesn't hit a home run.

But Toescar is a bad outfielder. It was bad outfielder vs bad runner and the outfielder threw a perfectly accurate throw.

    Most other players are safe.

I don’t really understand what the point is of carrying a bad defensive backup catcher who can’t really hit?

I get Wells wasn’t really the planned to work out but why start Trevino tonight?

There’s just no rhyme or reason to half the moves Boone makes.

Holmes is warming up in the seventh down four runs. Because you probably aren’t going to want him tomorrow in an elimination game.
