It's quite sad the Jets could be in first place if they win Monday. Talk about smoke and mirrors. Is the AFC East the worst division in football this year? I think you could sure make an argument but it's definitely bottom 3 at the moment. Even Buffalo won't make it out of the divisional round this year IMO.
And they'd do so in typical Jets fashion, doing it without a winning record. That's the only reason I think that they might pull out the game Monday night, so they can claim greatness while still being shitty.
Good Lord what a pile of BS. Buffalo is coming in hot and heavy after two loses Yeh, let’s try hard to lose the game because it would be sooo sad to be tied for first with this record. Like it only happens to the Jets. Give me a break. You are what the record shows you are, no matter what team has it.
I'm sure if they finish 9-8 you'll be leading the charge for Douglas and Ulbrich to get lifetime extensions. Where does the madness end? Mediocrity should not be rewarded especially this season with these expectations. Rinse and repeat. The only BS is acting like this organization has a clue.
I never said this organization is not the problem. But your post was total nonsense regarding the current situation. Buffalo is still a damned good team. We could just as easily had won the last two games except for shit execution, play calling and barely lost both by a gran total of 7 points. End of the season win loss will dictate what happens next, but with Woody in charge that doesn’t mean shit. Mean time, I will try to enjoy every win if at all possible and don’t give two shits about the opposition record
The Jets have received a lot of media attention lately. I hope they win. If they lose, I can see the media having a field day blaming Aaron Rodgers. I think the key to the Jet's success on offense is the running game. Otherwise, Rodgers will get killed out there. The Bills are notorious for injuring the QB opponent. The Bill's defense is ranked 26 against the run, so it would dictate that the Jets should run the ball more this game. This should set up the play-action passing also. It will be interesting to see if the new play-caller, Downing agrees with me. Sure Rodgers can change the play on the line of scrimmage. But adding an extra tight end or offensive lineman in the formation might persuade Rodgers to have the Jets run the ball more often. The Bill's defense is much better against the pass than the run. Would it be more logical to run the ball more often? When I hear Rodgers claiming the offense will not change that much, it makes me nervous.
Ed Oliver being out is a big loss for them. He could have singlehandedly ruin the game going up against Simpson, Tippman, and AVT. Curious to see what happens with Shakir and Cook. Something that no one has really mentioned is a team playing its third road game in a row. Tough spot for Buffalo in that regards.
Just made the rub for my ribs. Smells so good I could eat it with a spoon. Looks like wind forecast backed a little bit still 18 to 19 knots West. I see the Jets will distribute the wrist lights for a light show during the game. It was cool during the 9/19/24 Monday night game. Good tailgate to eat some gummies or shrooms...
It is a fucking tough spot for the Bills tonight. All the historical data points towards a Jets win. We've seen this before. Jets will win tonight, get to 3-3. Vibes are back. They get Adams and Reddick in the building only to get slapped by TJ Watt on SNF next week.
I'm putting away all my dark side negativity tonight. Predicting a big Jets win. 27-10 Bullrush Josh Allen early, knock the Bills for a loop. Offense puts it all together for one night and we roll. Let's do this!
Best case scenario we beat Bills 47-9 like Detroit just did to Cowboys ahahaha..of course that’s just a hallucination More of a reality we lose 9-47 !!!!!??? Who the heck knows? (And I can never know tbh lol) Will the Owner having the Turk ready to execute the CS make a difference? Sometimes fear works better than desire Of course for real incentive there is also a Division to win ..or is that an afterthought for the players ?
I think the team comes out juiced for Ulbrich for at least one game. Predicting a Jets win. I'm so pissed I can't watch this game tonight as I'm in Italy (not pissed about that) and it's almost 9pm here and flying back first thing in the morning so I have to wake up at 5 here which will be right about the time the game ends back home. LFG Jets!
Even before Saleh was fired I honestly was confident the Jets would lose to Minnesota but beat Buffalo. McDermott is nearly as clueless as Saleh. Only difference is he has had a top 3 QB the past few seasons and an elite roster. Heck Saleh beat him multiple times with far inferior teams. McDermott is an awful head coach and will likely be the reason Bills lose tonight. Jets win tonight.
I'll be in Italy next week on my honeymoon. I plan on staying up at 3 or 4am to watch SNF vs. the Steelers lol
lol Congrats and good man. Although, you'll have to stay up past 5am to catch the whole game as it's 6 hours ahead over here.
Fine by me lol. Whatever it takes. Between being in Greece this upcoming week while the Mets are in the NLCS and then being in Italy while the Jets play on SNF, I don't expect to get too much sleep lol
