They already have. The statement is that they are not the least bit serious about even being competitive, let alone winning.
I think this team is a total .500 team. The extremes are 10-7 or 7-10. The only things that are almost guaranteed is that it will take half the game to get the team ready to play, and they will commit a ton of penalties. Jets win a close game or lose handily.
They've lost the last (2) games by a possession. Both times the ball was in Rodgers hands to win the game and he didn't get it done. I am as disappointed as the next fan but we've watched some horrible football over the last few years that truly was not competitive and this is not that.
Yeah, that kind of game we usually lose by 3 scores and it ends up being a significant mile marker in the failures of the season. My only hope is that the Jets don't usually lay down against this team.
really interested to see what happens with Allen and the protocol this week. I think he needs to self report the symptoms now since he somehow "cleared" the protocol in 4 minutes yesterday. Reminds me of the Purdy situation where everyone knew he was concussed and then proceeded to throw 2 INTs and then got added to the protocol the next day. I think Sauce had something similar last year with the Eagles where he entered protocol late.
Problem is, our QB now has a litany of leg injuries affecting his throwing motion so we need Allen to be injured to even have a chance.
The Bills are going to show up pissed off and ready to take over the division. The Jets are going to be happy to be playing on Monday Night Football.
The Jets are wearing their throwbacks to remind the fans what it was like to have a broken down HOF QB who throws too many picks. Parallels within parallels!
Trubisky was the one who came in yesterday to handoff before Allen was miraculously cleared in 4 minutes.
yeah I know I was watching. Trubisky is Allen’s buddy, so he’s their no 2 but he shouldn’t be. Allen will play Monday so it’s all moot
Bills coming off those games? Love to see the Jets make a strong move for a weak division but my history of jets fandom, the added burden of international travel recovery, and the Jets inability to stop the run, lead me to predict Bills 27, Jets 17.
