Corley a healthy scratch and hasn't played an offensive snap since week 2, with the Jets in receiver trouble. I wonder if he is still Rodgers' favorite receiver in the draft.
Inactives: RB Israel Abanikanda CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse WR Malachi Corley OT Max Mitchell OT Morgan Moses LB C.J. Mosley DE Braiden McGregor
So, I had a dream we had a pretty lopsided win today. I’m putting it into the air so that it will happen.
I don't know who gets the more blame--the CS for not coaching him up, JD for drafting him, or Corley himself. I imagine Corley is trying as hard as he can so he's the least culpable.
Hope we can see Sauce cover Jefferson exclusively. If a Head Coach can't adjust his scheme to allow the #1 corner cover opponents #1 receiver, that scheme is most likely trash anyway. Blowhard Bob, do something and surprise us please.
Maybe I'm being pessimistic but Sauce is no Revis. He'll get exposed 1:1 with Jefferson IMO. Better to put him on Addison and double Jefferson IMO.
Well, now that you bring up this idea, I don't want to expose him because I want to trade him for +3000 draft points.
If that's the plan than OK. Trade him for 2 firsts and call it a day. If that's not the plan out him up against top competition so we see what he is made of.
I dont know why they can't try to manufacture some touches for him. Even if his route tree isn't too developed yet, doesn't it make sense to try to cater to his strengths in the mean time?
I was thinking if the Jets do trade for Adams that would save Saleh's job, no? You can't make that trade and fire your coach. How awkward would that be?
Game thread now open https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/2024-nfl-season-week-5-jets-at-vikings-in-london.100442/
I said this on another thread, but are we now officially 30 minutes away from some major firings. Is it cleaning house time or am I overreacting .
You can blame the receivers but Rodgers throws have been leaving a lot to be desired. Them WR don’t look like the only ones at fault out there.
I counted at least 4 drops today by Lazard including a TD. Everyone played bad but all of his drops have been killers every game, as well as that huge celebration penalty last week. Can't stand the guy.
