Sunday is a "Win ..Win" imo. : A loss starts the slide downward toward the team revolt. Salah and company lose the locker room, GM looks bad, and even the owner starts to sour. Potentially having Rogers push Salah out! OTOH if we somehow win ..well wouldn't that be nice?
This may (probably) be 100% accurate but I'm gonna be honest. Even if taking your medicine and violent purge ends up being whats needed here I hope it isn't because I don't want to sit through another complete disaster of a season. Last year was so disappointing. And that came after the previous 2 years of it becoming more and more apparent that Zach Wilson was complete shit and the franchise had made a terrible miscalculation hitching their otherwise pretty nice wagon to him. If this year turns into a dumpster fire that would literally make 5 in a row? Thats getting into the "its not even fair anymore" territory. Lets pray for big redemption, big game from GWilson, somebody actually has the Bevis and Butthead light bulb come on and thinks.... maybe we ought to GIVE the ball to Braelon Allen on the 1 yard line, Saleh gets a nice hug from somebody, nobody gets lost in Sherwood forest and everything turns for the better.
Well ,,after sitting through last Sunday in the rain and losing by 1 point a big win against Sam D and the Norseman would be sweet , of course ..But I am not sure whether we keep it going to the playoffs BTW Pepsi there is a 24% chance of rain in London town..! Dry weather favors the Jets so yikes!!
I have no faith in this HC and O-CS, none. I see the next three games as losses and I hope I am wrong but gotta tell you, I do't think so.
I get that they're trying to push merch in the UK, but it would have been cool for the London peeps to see the old school throwbacks.
You got that right... That new owner of the Panthers makes Woody look like George Halas. It's kind of unnerving that the league is allowing these "types" of people to invest in a team. How many new owners have there been since 2000? I went and looked it up. I counted 12 new owners since 2000. It came out 7 bad and 4 good with 1 I call a tie (Commanders). Of that 7, I included Minnesota as I feel they are considered at least a decent organization that wins more than it looses. That's nearly TWICE as much on the negative!!! With that kind of $$scratch$$ at stake you'd THINK they would do better. The Jets benefit from the largest market in the country but the Panthers... If that mess continues a decade or so they could look like a mess twice as bad as what was in Washington. We'll see how Washington shakes out but it sure is easy when it looks like they hit it "C.J. Stroud-esq" with Jayden Daniels! (got him on one of my fantasy teams baby). We need to get rid of the Woody's and Teppers of the world.
Wishing all our UK Jets fans and those here traveling to the stadium an exciting game and may you be pleasantly surprised with a thrilling win. Bottoms up.
The whole offense is underperforming. I have to think that the offensive coaching is really bad on this team. I'm not an expert and I don't know what goes on at practice, but the staff is making obvious poor decisions, such as using Breece for short runs when they have a giant human bowling ball named Braelon Allen that is built for those runs. I mean, the staff seems really stupid. I said it last season when they didn't run anything creative and didn't play to Zach Wilson's strengths at all. I'm not a ZW truther, but the guy does have some skills. They could have utilized him much better.
I'm also starting to lean that way. They had convenient excuses the last 3 seasons because ZW wasn't good. On the other hand, they never played to his strengths. The s-show that was the Broncos game showed an offense that is poorly coached and not held accountable for its mistakes. It was glaring! They never picked up the blitzes against a team that blitzes a lot. They would run Breece on short yardage plays when they have a monster named Braylon Allen that is built for those plays. They put a defensive player in the backfield?!!! Garrett Wilson can't run routes. Breece Hall runs into the line. What the heck is going on?
Most teams would come out desperate and business like. I can’t wait to see the celebrations over an interception that eventually turns into a 3 and out.
Saleh is a coordinator pretending to be a HC. He celebrates the defensive wins and scratches his head when the offense falters. This is after the owner clearly stated he was taking on oversight for the offense. He's wants Aaron to fix everything. Not a real HC.
