Jets home opener on Thursday night. Both teams are 1-1 and to be honest, Pats look better than I thought they would be. They won on the road against Bengals last week and this week lost in overtime against a good team in Seahawks. We were on a short week and found a way to win in Tennessee. Jermaine Johnson and Mosley left today's game and I hope at least Mosley can return for this game. Jets are favored by 7 but I expect line to go down.
Please let’s beat the bums from NE already ..sick of losing to them First Divisional game should be hard fought win??
I'll take a legitimate win over New England, I don't care if it's by more than 1 point. That final game last season wasn't a real win.
Jets gonna be physically run down on another short week. Pats look WAY better than anybody predicted. I'd love to get a win and some well deserved rest
Very much want to see Rodgers go off on the Pats and have a game like Favre did against the Cardinals. Then again, the defense won't allow that to happen and we'll probably see another game like last Monday with Stevenson approaching 200 yards against our grossly overrated defense. We struggled with a bad Titans team. The Pats are better than the Titans.
I hate Thursday night football in general. And I hate it more for this team. Weird things happen on TNF. I like that we're at home coming off a win and the Pats hopefully come back to earth after a gut punching loss. But they're no pushover. I expect the Jets should win this game if they're to be an actual contender of sorts. I'd bet on a low-scoring, ugly game. But a schellacking of the Pats (or 20 of them) is LONG overdue
Well let me be more specific: the reason the clock kept reaching zero without the ball being snapped.
One of my drunk homer friends told me Hackett was slow as fuck getting the plays in and Rodgers barely had time to look at the defense. He’s generally knowledgeable and we all know Hackett eats horsecock so I’m going to ride with his explanation.
Any time you have a chance to run the score up against NE you take it after all the BS they did for years they deserve it
Saleh says he's hopeful Mosley will play Thursday. Which going by Rob's track record probably means Mosley will never play another game and retire
I like the Jets in this spot. Thursday night football usually isn't great for less experienced teams on the road. The Patriots have played respectfully but I think its a hard spot for them. If this game was in New England on a short week I wouldn't like the Jets chances. Jets 27 Patriots 17
Not this year. The two games vs the Bills are the most important. I think the Jets win here. Low scoring game something like 17-14.
You want specifics? After 32 months as head coach of the New York Jets Robert Saleh has not trained his coaching staff and players how to be ready to play a football game.
Or you could just say "No the Jets didn't offer an explanation". I only asked because the press conferences were not playing on YouTube.
Can I just say how nice it is to wake up on a Monday morning after a Jets win early in the season knowing that the entire year hasn't gone off the rails yet?
