Wins are a team stat not a QB stat I like him because he is a good family man and a hard working player. Compared to the Milf hunter mommas boy and the drama queen psychedelic drug enthusiast he is much more likable to me personally

Lol. Just edited my post but here are his WR's WIDE RECEIVERS (7): Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams, Allen Lazard, Xavier Gipson, Malachi Corley, Irvin Charles, Jason Brownlee.
In reality I'd be surprised if they sign Mike White. But remember he's being talked about as QB3 here, not the savior of the franchise or even the backup. A veteran who has shown he can play within himself, make good decisions, move the ball and get the respect of his teammates. Some of those games he didn't win he did have them in good position to do so and those were against good teams. Pretty damn good for a QB3 - especially because our chosen QB3 will probably be out all year.
Your post made me look up who else may be available as a legitimate #3 and really, there is no-one except maybe Tannehill. Lets see who else shakes out after cuts but you may be right that he'd be a legit NYJ signing if he agrees to be on the PS. If we need a guy for 1 or maybe 2 games max, maybe White would serve.
Many thanks. If and when Reddick comes in Taylor moves to the Practice squad. I hope McGregor makes the PS too.
It's for this fantasy I have to help me prepare in the event Rodgers and Taylor go down again that a QB3 can help salvage the season because the roster is so solid. A game manager-type. I would really like a better QB3 option than Martinez
Tanner McKee of the Eagles I supposed to be great as #2 or #3, but doubt he wants practice squad duty
Good point. So basically what JD should have done last year... Hope he would do something differently in a similar scenario
No doubt--but I watched Rodgers' last year in GB and he had a bunch of rookies at WR and he made a couple of them into legit WR's. He may be able to get something out of Lazard and maybe either X or Brownlee. I guess Corley maybe. Another thing about AR in GB--if he didn't like the WR he would just not even look his way at all. So it will become obvious pretty quick who's gonna contribute and if we need to go out and get someone.
Was coming here to type out my 53, but it’s essentially the same as Cimini’s. Two exceptions, I don’t think Max Mitchell or Brownlee showed enough to make the 53, I’d try to get them on PS. Instead I’d keep McGregor at End, and Smith at WR. They earned a chance and I like their upside and future role possibility. Of course once Reddick shows up one of them would have to be cut, and hope you can retain them on the PS. Would probably be Smith cut in that scenario.
Following Saturday's preseason game vs the Gnats, following is my revised roster: Offense (25) QB (2) – Rodgers, Taylor RB (4) – Hall, Allen, Davis, Abanikanda WR (6) – Wilson, Williams, Corley, Gipson, Lazard, Charles TE (3) – Conklin, Ruckert, Yeboah OL (10) – Smith, Simpson, Tippman, AVT, Moses, Fashanu, Schweitzer, Warren, Levao, Newman Defense (25) DL (11) – JJ, Q, Kinlaw, Clemons, McDonald, Foku, Thomas, McKinley, Taylor, McGregor, Holmes LB (4) – Mosely, Q Williams, Sherwood, Barnes CB (6)– Sauce, Reed, JBC, Stiggers, Echols, MC II S (4) – Adams, Clark, Davis, Oliver Holmes had a great preseason and TC. He might wind up starting over Clemons. I think McGregor might be able to replace either as the starter by at some point during the season if he keeps developing as quickly as he has. If the Jets only keep 10 DL, then I think Clemons should be the one to go. PS (16) These are the players that I think the Jets want to make it to the PS. Whether they will or not remains to be seen. JD usually signs a cut or two from other teams. If he does this year, I think it will be at one of 4 positions: QB, S, WR, and IOL (in that order). I have changed my mind at QB, and don't think the Jets should keep either QB. Martinez is athletic and experienced, but holds the ball too long, his accuracy and arm strength are lacking, as is anticipation. Peasley has the better arm, but wasn't able to do anything with the scrubs in one week, whereas Martinez was in the 1st preseason game. That's where his experience paid off. I have 14 of the 16 spots filled assuming the other 3 would either be from players cut from other teams or perhaps other players they like that I didn't notice. I think that they might want to keep Siebert, but after having been perfect in preseason action, I don't think there's any chance that he'll make it through waivers. QB - RB - WR - Tyler Harrell, Brandon Smith TE - Kuntz, Firkser OL - Latham, Mitchell Edge - Watts LB - Surratt, Eguavoen DT - Hector CB - Swilling, Codrington S - Key, Monroe *Foreign Exemption - Obinna Eze (doesn't count in the 16 PS players)
I kind of think Clemons could be a surprise cut. So many of the UDFAs have looked so good and he's seemingly continued to disappoint and not keep his cool. Is it a stretch to say Eric Watts has outplayed him?
He's part of the glory days of the 2022 draft, you have a better chance of Joe Douglas selling his children. Clemons would have to get arrested for something bad at this point. Especially after cutting loose 2 ends who were heavy in rotation.
After what I saw in the Giants game, my opinion is McKinley and McGregor make the team on the DL. Something tells me that Reddick is not going to be coming in. I think he sits and tries to accrue a year by showing up around game 10. I've said it before, I wouldn't even put him on the 53 man roster at that point. bring him back to argue, again, next year. Then again, what do I know. lol I don't even know if that's possible.
