Not everyone receiver is psychologically strong enough to deal with the ineptitude of ZW and other shit qb's we had--Even GW had his moments. I think its possible it got to Lazard and he couldn't handle it--I expect he'll bounce back with AR.
I mean he really can't get any worse so I'm also optimistic about Lazard having a better year than last year, but that's not saying much since he was statistically one of the worst WR in the NFL.
Ya--very true--but our qb was the statistically worst as well so that has to be considered in his stats. Statistically GW doesn't stand out as a top 20 WR when terrible qb is in there.
From November 1st on - last year (10 possible games) Lazard had 6 catches total for 56 yards He is due over $12 Mill next season, who in their right minds is going to trade for that? Joe Douglas needs to get a clue
I think we're stuck with him. He hadn't been nearly that bad prior to last year. I'm hopeful he can actually contribute in 2024. At least now he won't be counted on as a #2 receiver though. Right now he's competing for WR3, but hopefully they'll be a Day 1 or 2 addition at WR in the draft so he could end up anywhere from 3-6. Not sure if he'd beat out Jason Brownlee honestly. Fine to have in that position compared to last year. Any contribution we can get from him is a bonus at this point
He has always been this bad. Rodgers made him look better. Whoever played better than him last year if they can keep up or improve that play, they will be better than him this year. He is a WR5. We still need #3 and #4.
