Well, you're right that with JD making the picks, the chances of getting a good-great one in the 6th round are not good, but even a blind squirrel can find a nut, and who knows, maybe this is the year, he hits the jackpot with that pick. I'd bundle the 6th round pick along with one of our 4th round picks, and our 4th round pick next year (or maybe 3rd) to get a 2nd round pick this year. Pick swaps can bite you in the ass, as we saw last year when JD did the 1st round pick swap with GB. Besides, I'd rather sign Tyler Boyd, or Darnell Moody than give up draft picks for Sutton.
I liked Bourne, but the Pats gave him 3/$33mil. I thought he'd be more of a bargain add coming off an ACL tear
Yeah like I mentioned earlier in the thread his 2024 availability question makes that kinda meh too. Pats got excess money to blow though, and hopefully that Ridley overpay in FA follows it (less of a chance they end up outbidding us on tackles)
Besides the huge injury red flag concern I think he ends up being too costly in relationship to our current cap situation and needs. The WR market looks gross so far from a value standpoint.
Mike Williams would be exciting in theory if healthy but as others have said, too injury-prone and expensive. It's interesting they weren't even able to trade him The WR market has been a trickle. Still plenty of solid players out there
That contract was unreal, sucks too because after AZ let their starting LT go just now and Titans got a WR so they are both highly likely to take LT in the draft.
The Titans are a team I never get. Like really, they signed with the Titans? Even when they were good. I don't get it.
I loved Renfrow coming out of Clemson but hes getting a bit long in the tooth. He might be worth a look but I'm not sure where he fits in.
OBJ officially released. C'mon Rodgers. 1/$5-6m. Get on the phone, invite him over for a steam, or whatever. Start earning your GM level privileges and get us a value flyer sign.
