Chiefs vs 49ers. Two good teams with good defenses and good offenses. I want 49ers to win as I like Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy. Hope Mr Irrelevant can win a ring. On the other hand, tired of Chiefs. But if they win again, at least the saving grace would be Chiefs, Reid and Mahomes threatening Pats, Bellichik and Tom Brady records. Who are you rooting for?
Chiefs should be the obvious answer for every Jets fan strictly based off your last sentence Brook. For years everyone has said no one will do what the Pats are doing and it's impossible to have a dynasty like that. Less than 10 years later and the Chiefs are on the cusp of doing it. The more they win the less we have to hear about the Pats doing something no one can do. Fuck the Pats. Fuck Brady. Fuck Bill.

I hear you. And I won't be mad if Chiefs win. In fact I only care slightly about who wins. But I still want 49ers to win.

Hard to vote as I prefer the niners and am sick of the Chiefs but at the same time I enjoy how mad Pats fans get as I see more and more arguments about who is the GOAT As an aside I think that basing GOAT status on SB wins is weird as there are so many factors that come into play - Mike Wilson has more SB rings than Jerry Rice, anyone think he is the better WR?
The idea that team wins and losses (and by extension, championships) are an individual player's statistics is one of the stupider one in sports, unfortunately amplified in recent years by talking heads on TV and sports radio. Consistent performance in the postseason as a stat for an individual is meaningful; which team wins or loses is not as often as not.
I don’t like seeing overrated quarterbacks win at all. As irritating as the Chiefs are, Mahomes, Kelce and Reid are all great and Hall of Famers. The 49ers have a bunch of great players but I don’t buy Purdy (just like Garoppolo) as being anything more than a system guy who lucked into the right situation. He doesn’t deserve it IMO. And fuck them. I’m resentful as fuck that we could’ve had that situation with LaFleur and pissed it away over a hack like Zach Wilson.
With a win they'll be New England Lite. Early favorite for team of this decade but still not close to what new England used to be. May never see a run like that ever again. I don't have a rooting interest. I think the 49ers will win and avenge their SB loss to the Chiefs a few years back.
49ers. So sick of the Chiefs, Mahomes, Kelce, and all the rest of them. I hope the 49ers and their insanely overrated JAG QB do what Washington did to the Broncos back in the day or what the Seahawks did to Manning's Broncos in the NY Super Bowl and just blow KC clean out of the stadium early.

I have absolutely no interest in this Super Bowl. Unless I find something I really like to wager on. I probably won’t watch. It runs past my bedtime anyway.
