Our OL isn't good enough, I'm not debating that. I'm just saying that going all in on OL is not the correct path forward. You need the OL to be good enough, but you really succeed by stockpiling playmakers and having a smart offensive mind calling plays as HC to get them the ball in space.
I get what you're saying. I think the Dolphins were able to do what they did today, in part, because they're better at evaluating talent, at least on offense. They're line, which was down to whatever string-players they had out there, outperformed anything that our O-line has done all season. We definitely need more playmakers. We have maybe 2, and that's it, and we can't get them the ball. Our offense is shit and it's going to take more than a season or two to properly fix it.
I’m guilty of this and should have KNOWN better! Won’t make that mistake again. This team needs to be wiped out, on the O side of the ball, period. The ONLY salvageable pieces are G. Wilson and Hall. Everyone else is replaceable. Oh, and that’s AFTER we FIRE the entire coaching staff and GM and replace. Bienemy, Reich…I don’t care! Throw $50 million at Harbaugh to drag him out of Michigan. Whatever it takes. I’ve reached the end of my rope with this team and the offseason will go along way as to whether or not I bother rooting for them in 2024 and beyond.
This team is good at marketing themselves. We were told they were a good team with Rodgers as the missing piece. Yeah fucking right
Unless you change the talent that makes the selection you will continue to get the same results. Most important position or not. We have been down this road for the last 20 years with shit to show at the QB position.
Anyone that thinks this team would have been far most successful with AR under center highly underestimates how pathetic the talent base offensively really is. AR going down early did not create the demise, it just accelerated the inevitable.
This is exactly what I was thinking watching the game The Dolphins offensive line is beat u just like ours-they've had multiple different combinations start this year. However, they are still able to play competent football up front with backups. But when we can't, its always the bullet proof "Injury" excuse
We keep ridiculing the fan base loyalty and Football IQ yet fail to understand that when you have an owner that wouldn’t know a good GM or HC if he got hit in the ass by one there is no future unless thru blind luck. How is being critical of the team and demanding changes going to make it all better with the same guy making the decisions? We have seen this shit movie with the same ending entirely too long. Rinse and repeat every four years or less.
This franchise should never use a high draft pick on a qb again. How can anyone watch that game and say yup we just need a QB.
Look at what the Bills just did to the Cowboys. The Bills offensive line has been intact all year. Granted a lot of that is pure luck, but we definitely need some competent lineman.
Good luck with that. Look at what it took to have the Commanders moved to new ownership. Do you foresee any massive sexual assault cases or harassment suits coming any time soon? We the fan base are so screwed it’s not even funny. Really, there is only one decision that needs made at this point. Do “you” meaning we, the fans, continue to shit good money after bad? Do “we” continue to flush our football watching lives down the drain watching a never ending pooch screw of a nightmare or do “we” move on and enjoy football while rooting for a team that is WORTHY of your time and devotion. This organization has been shitting on the fan base since the moment Woody bought the team. Time to ask the really hard question. I know I’m asking it.
