If he plays at a really high level the next four games somebody absolutely will give him a starting position or at least a great shot to earn it. The league knows the shit Zach has gone through here and if can come out of it playing lights out of course he will get a chance to start elsewhere. Heck, If he balls the next four games I may want him starting here.

How does sports news differ from regular news? You can watch 3 different news channels and get three different reports, or some won't even mention a particular story. The reporting you're talking about mostly disppeared a long time ago.
Andrew Fialkow breaks down some Zach for y'all... https://www.youtube.com/live/w_DjMjOtDrE?si=s98AUifLkxbdZY1n *could not embed the video for some reason
this guy does excellent breakdowns each weak with the all 22 clips https://www.reddit.com/r/nyjets/comments/18hrjk9/all22_zach_wilson_vs_the_texans/
really smart read by wilson, usually he'd throw it and get picked off but this time he pump faked the LBer causing him to be out of position and opening up a window for ruckert
look at this sloppy play design and execution on 2nd and 9 https://streamable.com/y1wmat we go heavy and try to sell the run but defense isn't fooled at all. 2 wide 2 TE (one at FB) 1 RB. looks like a run right pre snap. they play action a run left but D isn't fooled at all by any of it. 4 man rush and 7 in zone against 2 WRs. the 2 TEs and RB stay in to block. the 2 Wrs run deep routes to the end zone. but we still have not enough time to let it develop and really no way to win this rep. the left side of the line holds up well but the RG blocks nobody. the OC gets beat eventually, the RT is 1v1 vs a DT and actually held his own, and the TE is 1V1 vs a DE and loses and pushed him out while the other TE was ready to block in so was out of position. the RB had nobody to block and just turned around to be a check down which is where zach goes with the ball but jeez this is a bad play call and the TEs/right side of the o-line just failed. looks like the play is designed to trick the D into thinking it's a run and have blockers for that but since the D wasn't fooled we had players doing nothing and 2 WRs trying to beat a 7 man zone and a TE blocking a DE 1v1 should never be a thing on a long developing play. we can't even PA right sometimes.
Because networks made sports (and news for that matter) 24 hours. Of course they have so much air to fill the gaps it largely becomes "experts" opinions, speculation and hearsay.
Does he though? I love all these guys who think they are experts. What are his credentials? There is no way this guy has ever played football before. https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-fialkow/ You guys be the judge.
what? are you doxxing the kid? thats not cool. he's just a random fan like any of us that started doing breakdowns and they are good and he links the all-22 clips with them. you don't have to be a "professional" to do a good job at something
It gets annoying that anyone with a an all-22 subscription think they are are experts at breaking down film. What his experience subscribing to JD O'Sullivans QB school. Him Narnia and a slew of others that have never played a down of football or sat in a Qb room are all of a sudden route and concept experts.
you don't have to have played to understand the game. it's clearly just a hobby for him, all i said was he did a good job whoever it is. no reason to go deeper in it. the clips are there at minimum so you can always just see for yourself anyway
then use them and come up with your interpretation but no reason to shit on the kid who's clearly putting in effort and time to go over film of the jets purely as a hobby. even if half the shit he said was wrong it's sitll alot better then most of what's posted here
I do not pretend to be an expert. He is introduced as some sort or some kind of expert. He is not he is just a fan with an opinion like the rest of us. It is the "expert" and him critiquing route concepts that he has no clue about that bothers me.
