The moneyline is Jets +130 with a 33.5 o/u... spread is 2.5. We can't score points with anything other than Zurlein's leg. I predict some turnovers leading to some field goals... and a late game collapse.
I can't see the Jets winning another game with the way they've been playing the past few weeks. When was the last damn time they even broke 20 points? If the other team gets a 2 score lead, it's over I'm gonna say ATL 14-10
Nothing to lose now right? So mix things up a bit on offense. Run some wildcat, some creative trick plays, go for it on 4th down, etc. Atlanta doesnt have a deadly offense on the other side anyway, if you make a mistake they wont make you pay too much on this defense
Unfortunately, having the draft pick hasn't worked out for a short or long-term. I don't trust the Jets organization to select the right guy. I'd rather see the mojo since they'll be running out essentially the same product again next year. Let these young guys get some confidence.
I mean, all the Jets have to do is to do is look at what teams have done to them for the past god knows how many weeks. Stack the line, dare the quarterback to beat them, and grind out a 6–3 win.
Unfortunately we could get run all over in this one. For whatever reason, that dope down in Atlanta has tried to make them into a passing team for half the year and suddenly is giving the ball to Bijan a bunch. I’ve thought we were a lot more susceptible to the run all year than teams have exposed because they haven’t committed to it. If the defense quits we might get punched in the mouth.
You'd think that a team with Pitts and London could be a good passing team. But they've had spotty QB play and Pitts is hovering around bust territory now.
I’ll give Boyle a chance to turn this shit around. By second quarter we better see something. Don’t stores give out head sized paper bags anymore?
I thought this game was Thursday night game for and reason, and I was sort of relieved when I learned it wasn't. That's all. I'll show myself out.
That was a well played game last night. It was like a completely different league from what we are used to watching weekly
I see it as a toss up. Hopefully the defense will hold up and we can get our running game moving. But the QB is a big question.
I can't count how many times over the past few seasons I've sat and watched other games and felt like it was a different sport. For a little while, we were just playing a bad version of what they are playing, now we're back to playing a different game altogether.
Goes to show you how good our defense is that TGG likes to bitch about when it gives up more than 20 points. And how easy TGG went on Zach who's never sniffed that level of QB play in a single game of his career.
Well, we ended the game with more points which is why that 1 is in their L column. But the Eagles are the only team to beat the Eagles.
