Tough road schedule so at home we're going to need to take care of business (unlike the 4-4 home record we posted this season). The game that might be most interesting is the Herm Return game. Not only will we kill Herm with boo's and such but Larry Johnson against our run defense? That might be a quick afternoon if we don't shore up our run D by then.

The road schedule is tough seeing as all but one of those teams were in the playoffs last season and the other is up and coming (Tennessee)

Cannot wait for Herm's return to the Meadowlands. Anybody else excited for that day of bashing on Herm?

Jets in the SB next season with a 13-3 record. No way we lose a single game until week 12. Chad will throw for 4000 yds and 30tds.

Oh, and somebody please pass me my meds.... :)

I think that we will be on National TV a lot next year.

I would not be surprised if the KC game and one of the Pats games are Sun/Mon night. I also think we will be in Dallas on Thanksgiving...

You're not referring to the 1985 Thanksgiving game. The Jets were beaten pretty soundly by a not so good Lions team. That game wound up costing us the division championship..... You are remembering a Jets win at Detroit in 1988, a regular Sunday game. You are right, Walker caught a long TD pass late in the 4th quarter to beat the Lions 17-10.....

I agree that the Jets-Cowboys will be the Thanksgiving match-up. The Jets should get another couple of prime-time matchups among my guess, KC, NE and PHIL....

The KC home game should be a prime time game and they should allow signs and banners.

Yeah, i think that game was over by the third quarter. It went from bad to worse. I don't remember details but i remember being very dissapointed after the excitement of actually having a Thanksgiving game.

I do agree, i think we will get some more prime time games next season.

Having nine home games should help ease the pain of a tough schedule overall.

I really hope not and don't think it will happen.

HOPEFULLY the Thanksgiving Day game will be New England @ Dallas so they can feature all they want the Belichick-Parcells and Brady-Romo crap. There's nothing more I'd hate then to sit with family and watch the Jets and Cowboys while 5 of us sit their interested and the rest of the family wonder why we're screaming our lungs out at the TV.

Prime-Time match-ups? You KNOW against New England we'll have one 4pm nationally televised match-up and the other a Sunday Night or Monday Night game. Kansas City? That would be a sweet one but who knows. Philly? Nah. How about Cincy or Baltimore?

How does the ticket allocation work out for the Giants game when the Jets are technically the away side?

The giants get all the season tickets, since its a home game for them. That doesnt mean that atleast 20% of the stadium wont be jets fans.

Thanks I didn't realise that was the case.. I suppose given the size of the USA it doesn't make sense to have an away fan allocation - pity in this game though... what's the deciding factor in New York where your loyalty lies by the way... is it where you grew up or Dads supporting a team or do you get families split down the middle ?

Well there is a few 1,000 seats that go to the visiting team. Fans usually travel on their own and buy tickets when they go on sale. Only in college football do you have away team allocations (anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000). Alot of fans travel, they just dont sit together. When the jets hosted the game in 2003 they had all the tickets.

I am not really sure how everyone ends up a jets or giants fans. Everyone probably has their own unique story.

    Home: Cleveland (W), Pittsburgh(L), Philadelphia(L), Washington(W), Kansas City (L), New England (W), Miami (W), Buffalo (W)

    Away: Baltimore (W), Cincinnati (L), Dallas (W), NY Giants(W), Tennessee (W)
    New England (L), Miami (W), Buffalo (W)

I see you guys going 11-5 next year. Just my opinion. If you guys shore up your run D, That record could improve. The key games will be against running teams like Pittsburgh, KC, and Philly
