Thats another game I seriously think Carson Wentz would have won if we had just gotten him the hell in here immediately after Rodgers went down. That stubbornness is literally probably going to cost us the playoffs.
In typical Jets form we'll finally make a change now that the season is lost so that we can get a worse draft pick and still not make the playoffs. I swear there is no one with a brain in the organization.
I don't think the play-calling was bad tonight. I really can't blame Hackett or the o-line this time. Hey, they doubled the points from last game. It's progress. From 6 to 12!
I don't think there's anyway they bench him after tonight. He showed too many flashes that will give the people who support him reason to point to others.
Agreed on the OL…they weren’t great, but they weren’t horrible…some bad plays for sure, Becton let his guy get the strip sack but at least he recovered the fumble…but overall OL was average I’d say…
I'm thinking maybe we win 1 or 2 more games. The offense is way worse than last year, which is alarming as Zach is playing slightly better, and Breece isn't injured. That said, while the Jets MOSTLY have their offense to blame tonight, the refs were certainly biased. There was a very blatant missed holding on the go ahead touchdown play. O'Connell would have been sacked had it not been for the hold. There were constantly holds and personal foul calls that went unnoticed when the Raiders did it, but not the Jets.
that’s what happens when you throw a Hail Mary, everyone tries to get the ball. Conklin probably didn’t even know Wilson was there
ZW with a 68 passer rating, good for third worst of the season for him (Dallas and New England worse). Anyone saying its not his fault is fully gaslighting.
O’Connell was telling him the play design into his helmet last week after being with the team for 4 days and he was engineering touchdown drives. Meanwhile we haven’t seen a legitimate end to end touchdown drive in what feels like years.
