Streveler cannot throw the ball. He's mobile with no arm. No accuracy, no strength, nothing. But he did provide a little bit of a spark in that Jacksonville game. Still didn't get us in the end zone, but the offense had some pep. You put a guy back there who CAN throw the ball, and things are bound to happen. If they don't, you're no worse off than you are now.
the worse that happens is he throws 10 picks in 3 games and we get blown out and never have the chance to win close ones like buff, Den, NYG, and PHI and we are sitting at 0-8. there are worse outcomes then 4-4 in 4 ugly wins with a bad offense. also for those saying he's forced to start zach from above, saleh said today he has no interest in bringing up simian right now
My buddy, I do enjoy the back-and-forth with you. But you are not exactly a stanchion of consistency in your arguments. You tend to jump all over the place depending on what comes back at you. I've been pretty damn steady in my takes. 1) zach sucks but he sucks less then the other options 2) zach sucks but he sucks less then he did his 1st 2 years 3) film means way more then stats 4) we've had bad luck and injuries thats pretty much all i've been saying. whats not consistent?
I know stats are meaningless to you until you need them, but what in Siemian's career leads you to believe that he's going to throw 10 pics in three games? The worst case scenario is he gets hurt again because he can't escape the pressure. Zach Wilson fumbles the ball away and does a lot of things that may as well be turnovers. Actual turnovers can't be much worse. You're just making assumptions because you don't want him in there.
