No, my point is you have double standards. It depends on the game if you consider it a bad game or not.
The Jets have played the toughest schedule in NFL. We have one of if not worst receiver core in the NFL and have had a patch work o-line Zach is getting better and is winning games.
as much as I want Zach to figure things out I think theres such a small chance of it happening. I think the coaching staff is nuts and are seeing things that are not there. Id love when this experiment blows up eventually for them to say damn you were all right and we were wrong, but we know theres a better chance of the moon slamming into the earth.
if they both had Zachs numbers over 29 games then yes they would both suck. In case anyones wondering, 20 td 23 int 56% completions and 184 yards a game
The Jets are winning games. The Defense is winning games. Zach is not LOSING games, but hes far from winning gameS. I'll give you the Giants game because he did win that at the end, but hes mostly been a game manager.
As you well know, Is very easy to select the hot QB du jour and make comparisons, particularly when Zach is not playing well. Not long ago many of the same “realistic” posters were quoting Daniel Jones and Mac Jones on the same vain as much better options blah blah, blah. Both to be gone faster than Zach. The fact remains Zach is winning ugly but winning, behind a patched up third string OL, poor running and not very good receivers to boot. At this point that’s good enough for a back up QB just holding the fort. So they divert back to the wasted second pick, yada yada yada ignoring as we are the only team ( see Love) The fact remains he is our back up right now, nothing more….and winning. Next year is a different story.
Just so we're clear, Zach has never played well, he's had good moments, but never 4 quarters in one game, so it really easy for a fan base, to be critical, that's every fan base, every sport.
It was actually worth watching if only to see that Todd Bowles has learned absolutely nothing about clock management and game strategy. Brutal. He literally cost his team the game with a ridiculously stupid decision.
So if people disagree with you and provide their opinion about Zach's actual performance rather than cherry picking and spouting wishful thinking, they're haters? Does that make you a lover? Aw, lover. You're cute.
it was an exaggeration. He threw for 158 and ran for 66 with 3 TDs. off the bench with zero practice. no snaps all week.
Anyway, it’s all set up for Zach Wilson. The division all lost. He’s got a home game against a bad defense, to put us into 2nd place. It’s now or never for this kid
No complaints on MNF. Charges WR core is all injured and run game is weak. Two scores should seal it + our D at home. Let’s see if Zach can make that happen. Bosa will coming at him, same way our DLine will be coming. The Best performing QB wins this game.
