If you ever needed any more evidence that the NFL isn't nearly as concerned about player safety as they proclaim to be, look at the turf issue. If player safety was paramount, then each stadium would have grass. Period.
Amen to that. The Astro turf is absolute dogshit and the money hungry bastards will do nothing to fix that.
I can’t speak to what every other stadiums do but I think turf is here to stay given the fact that these aren’t only football or baseball stadiums anymore. They’re so mixed used that they can’t lay down sod and maintain it without anyone stomping on it til sundays anymore.

What is up with the Achilles injuries this year? Prior to this year I think they only had 1 in the last 10 years (Lawson in 2021). I wonder if they are all getting the same surgery as Rodgers.
The circumstantial evidence is mounting. If not for nothing else, just try something different like the grass and see if it helps or not.
They can figure it out. They just don't want to. And the blueprint is already there. Arizona and Vegas have managed to do it while having other events at their stadium.
The surgery Rodgers got has been the standard of care for competitive athletes for ten years so I would presume the answer to your question has been "yes" for some time now.
