Maybe Saleh can pull an Eppler and Lawson suddenly is "injured" and has to sit out a few games...

Does anyone have stats or film to showcase Huff's run reps? I feel like some of these runs where we got gashed on defense stemmed from a negative play by Huff.

However.. This Isn't an accurate assessment from me. It's an assumption mostly. Anyone with PFF stats or all-22 have more insight with his play here?

I usually do the All-22 and PFF stuff, but I decided against It this year. So, Its' my fault for the lack of knowledge but I am curious If anyone has more insight on this?

What I do know.. Is we are dead last In the league with T.O.P. Which Is an indicator of being bad against the run. Our run defense Is currently ranking 28th In the NFL. That's not good.

47% of the snaps today. Up from 39% last week (which was also a career high)

Quincy closed the game out too. Glad to see an uptick on Huff plays. He was doing his thing.

Lawson was inactive. Maybe JD can get a can of peas for him and Mecole. Just a waste of roster space and cap cash.

I would move from Lawson and use that money for Huff. He is homegrown so reward the players the you developed.

What I noticed so far is that Huff is showing up no matter who is against him. JJ is looking great against inferior opposition, but not so much against capable ones. That's why he looked great in practice against Turner and Max, and also in this game against Denver, which does not have a good line. But I want to see JJ doing well against decent OLine - something Huff is doing on consistent basis. This week will be a good test.

Still, JJ overall is doing well too, and I am glad they took snaps from Lawson with JFM, JJ, and Huff playing majority of the snaps, with a sprinkle of McD.

ya I can see Lawson being inactive but what is going on with hardman?! Imagine hardman, gw, Gibson, and Allan all on the field together. This would be a monster spread off!

I don’t think the Jets will have the luxury of stunting and twisting as much as they have all year. They’re exposing us badly to QB runs because we end up with a defensive tackle as the contain player.

Let the guys operate with a pure pass rush a bit more.

I disagree that he's been a disappointment. While he hasn't had the impact that I thought he would, I think that's because he's been held quite a bit and the refs aren't calling it. If the refs were actually calling the holds against him, his impact would be a lot larger.
