I think whoever wins this series represents the NL for sure. The value on Philly to win the series is really worth it IMO. I don't believe ATL is able to play in Philly all honestly. We saw it last year and I think we will it again. ATL is supposedly having walk through games and inviting fans to the stadium to try and prepare for the crowd noise and lunacy they will experience on the road. Strider hasn't been as good as he was last year and and their bullpen is not as good as it was. If Philly wins one in ATL, the series heavily favorites them. Their lineup is also clicking on all cylinders right now and ATL hasn't played a meaningful baseball game in probably 2 months and just had 5 days off.
I will say if you are going to face the Braves, a 5 games series is a lot better than a 7 game. So the Phillies benefitted there
Absolutely! They also get 2 days off before playing Atlanta so it isn't like they just went through a gruesome series vs the Marlins and aren't getting any rest for their arms.
