They should have tagged him and given Barkley the extra million he ended up getting anyway. That would have saved them a few million, and allowed them to move on from him easily if they wanted to.

I just don’t think they could have tagged Jones and had a real off-season. It would have counted for $42 million against the cap. We are going to see a similar situation with Tua this off-season and the lack of money Miami has if Tua has to get tagged

What off-season did they really have anyways though? They signed Okereke and backup receiver Parris Campbell. Oh and Waller but meh I think Jeff’s scenario made a lot more sense.

I think the Giants probably have a bottom 3 roster in the league competing with the Bears and Panthers. I know they beat the Cardinals but they’re playing with a backup QB to start the year. The Raiders might be in there too but I think the rosters better than the coach is letting them be.

Seahawks piss away two first round picks on a safety to the Jets that never plays and have 2x the amount of playoff appearances in the last three years as the Jets have in the last twelve. It’s remarkable.

Someone remind me why the Giants are better than the Jets. Was it Danny Dimes? Dabol? Where's that Giants fan?

Giants offense is like the Jets offense without Garrett Wilson.

i don’t know why Waller isn’t more involved.

At this point it looks like the OL isn't even trying.

Yes, Troy, the OL is a joke, but that interception is also just plain bad quarterbacking.

At least we don't have to hear about how great of a coach Daboll is anymore.

    Guy looks completely lost.

Was just discussing this in a discord I’m in. Are they actually in play for Maye? Bears, LV, arizona, Denver.

Giants have been outscored 64-3 at home.

Giants have a -76 point scoring differential. That’s worse than Chicago and Denver.

Outside if a miracle 2 quarters vs arizona, they have a 40 point loss, an 18 point loss, and a 21 point loss.

They are now on the road vs Miami and Buffalo.

Oh. And Evan Neal has a worse grade through two years than Ereck Flowers. Jesus.

Don't forget that their 160 mil QB is actually playing worse than our backup

It's a shame the "Why are the Giants better than the Jets?" thread got locked.

You can't put last night on Jones. Sure, he could play better but 11 sacks and facing constant pressure all night. No QB would succeed in that situation.
