Well, Zach did play better much tonight but ended up with a costly fumble anyway. I really like that he was getting rid of the ball much quicker and didn't do any of those crazy backwards runs. Let's see if he can keep it up and avoid mistakes.
It was more of a botched handoff. Probably his fault, but need to hear from the OC what went wrong. Looks like it might have been snapped early. But that pales in comparision to not getting the ball back. 100% total bleeping' BS. Sauce holds a crap player for 1/2 second and they throw a late flag. JJ is held for 5 seconds and the ref sees it and does nothing.
If Zach Wilson can play like this consistently.. That Is a big IF, we will win more games than not with that type of QB play. Hopefully something clicked for the kid. I doubt It, I hope for It regardless. I think we all do if we are honest.
I mean many gave up hope here. I know last nights performance changed that a little a boost some optimism for next few weeks. I know we’re all discouraged about ZW s progress and the team’s outlook. But we got to play the game and just hope this team can turn around. Folks just need to relax and support this team.
