Saleh and Jd get extensions and Zach gets his option picked up. Theres no way Selah outcoaches Andy Reid.
I really can't imagine a scenario where we pull that off outside of their plane crashing on the way to the game and they have to forfiet
Will probably be a lot of questions about if/when Mahomes is coming back from the injury he took in the first quarter and whether KC is still a contender for the post season this early in the year.
Nate Hackett is not going to be allowed to call these bullshit games much longer. It's pretty obvious to everyone but him what he's doing wrong. He figured it out for a single drive against Belichick.
And who knows? Maybe Kelce blows out a quad in the second quarter showing off for his billion-dollar mannequin.
In some respects, this has the feeling of that one game we tend to win every year where nobody, including us fans, thinks we have any business winning. The only problem is that it's also colliding with our absolutely abysmal prime time record, where we seem to get embarrassed even worse in these games than we do on a typically poor afternoon game. Regardless, this is Zach's last stand. I hope he goes into it and embraces his inner gunslinger and lets it rip. He needs to either pull it together Sunday night or he needs to go down in an absolute blaze of glory trying to salvage things for himself, but this over-the-top cautious game plans they've trotted out there the last two weeks need to be a thing of the past. We haven't won with them, let the kid it rip down the field and see what happens.
Kinda reminds me of when we got Darnold back from mono and beat the Cowboys at home. They were 8-8 that year but as always had a good roster and underperformed. I doubt it happens but the rush 4 drop 7 in deep zones is the most frustrating defense for Mahomes especially if the guys stay in their rush zones. Idunno if they’ll be able to do it for 4 quarters of 3 and outs though.
