You just can’t keep trotting him out there. He has no idea where the ball should go. The pocket has been fine today. He let the offense run into 4 defenders against two blockers on the opening possession too.
Not that you’re wrong of course, but the play design has been pretty bad. Pats offense is light years better.
It’d also be cool if we tried a first down pass or maybe some play action. He has seen some open receivers though. He just doesn’t have a good concept of down/distance or moving the ball though. A 5 yard pass on second and ten is a winning play especially in this weather.
The completion rate based on time before being under pressure tells us everything we need to know: it's not the QB that's the problem. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk
One has to think the only reason they didn't bring someone in is because they are trying to protect Wilson mentally. He's a grown man in his 3rd year enough with treating him like a child. No one thinks they will be able to find a super hero QB but at least someone who can put together more than one decent drive every once and a while.
Are they punting the seasoning because Saleh doesn't sound like they are even thinking about another option other than Wilson. Coaches & GM gonna cling to the no Rodgers for job protection? What gives with not even bringing in some other option?
Ego, they don't want to be proven wrong with their decisions they have made so far. Every week it'll suck the air out of the season and by the time changes happen it will be late when they make adjustments. Brutal stuff from Saleh and he probably needs to take a day to properly reflect because that was some of the worst quarterbacking ever
I think I saw that Josh Johnson is available…jeez he’d be better than this trash we are watching with Zach
They had 3 seasons now to reflect on the worst quarterbacking ever and yet this kid is still starting thanks to this village idiot.
Hackett is a bad OC, but there are receivers getting open when the pocket is still clean. Zach just doesn't see them.
He was in a camp this year so not out of shape like a Ryan or Wentz. Also was in camp with Hackett last year in Denver and also played for Saleh with the Jets. Nof a great option, but will at least be competent enough to get Garrett his stats in garbage time
Wentz is not out of shape dude, he has been practicing at the Washington Redskins facility begging teams to call him, the Jets are just Bufoons.
Id prefer a guy who was in a camp. I think he’d be better prepared for the season. Plus Johnson knows the system. He’s a career journeyman so used to this.
