Cowboys fans have always been pretty hospitable at Jerry World. Bandwagon fair weather fans are pretty docile when you get down to it.
Never seen anything further from the truth. There is no worse fanbase than the Eagles. When I was at Lambeau last year the Packers fans all said the Eagles were the worst. In Dallas, they say the Eagles are the worst (and I found the Cowboys fans to be pretty cool). In Nashville during the Mariota bowl, they all said Eagles fans are the worst. I think everyone thinks a certain type of person (jorts, Braves hat, Bulls jacket, Cowboys jersey) when they think Cowboys fan but the actual fans at the games are actually pleasant. You almost forget you’re in Texas.
I was in Philly while wearing Jets gear. They were absolutely amazing. Friendly banter, offering me beers + food, and to come join their tailgate. No idea why everyone gives Philly this crazy reputation of being assholes. Furthest thing from the truth when I was at the game (pre, during, and post). Dallas fans are cockroaches. Annoying. Act like every year they are going to win the superbowl only to not have reached an NFCCG in nearly 3 decades.
You have to know based off the last 20 years that your story about Eagles fans being cool is an outlier. You are quite literally the first and only person to tell me you had a pleasant experience at an Eagles game as a fan of the opposing team.
I had plenty of Giants fans friends who went to the playoff game last year and wore Giants attire and came back saying the same thing I just wrote. I guess if you know how banter works and you don't get over the top with it you will be just fine. Or I guess you can just be a snowflake and if someone looks at you the wrong way you will complain about it. Everyone always talks about a friend of a friend who went to Philly and got abused. Or they know absolutely no one who went to Philly and just hear from the grape vine how awful it is without actually ever experiencing it. That entire complex is absolutely incredible and X Finity Live Bar is the best place I have ever gone to tailgate before a game. The only shitty part is getting out of the stadium after and finding an Uber.
Eagles guys can be pretty cool. I admire the passion and how that team is everything to the town. Dallas fans are mostly soulless and fair weather. I wouldnt rate either on my most or least favorite fanbase but I do respect Eagles fans more
Oh man. Didn't think I opened a can of worms with my Eagles, Giants and Cowboys fan commentary. Still hate Giants and Eagles. Rooting for Cowboys just to annoy the hell out of Giants and Eagles fans at work. Washington Commanders is another team I like because I hate Giants and Eagles.
I'll eat crab on anything. And I meant the whole complex... it's designed perfectly. I work in the arena a lot and will be working at the stadium this spring, pretty excited about it. I find Philly to be enjoyable as long as you aren't at an Eagles game surrounded by Eagles fans.
I live in the DC area and have a friend that had Skins season tix for years. I went to a lot of games, 2 of which were Eagles games. I wore my Jets jersey and was constantly catching shit with Jets suck all by eagles fans. Had one eagles fan actually pull a knife on me, not sure how he got it through security. Granted I spoke out but I was tired of hearing all the Jets suck comments so I told them "I guess they have something in common with your mother". Either way I saw multiple fights at those games, they were both night games so maybe there was more drinking involved than normal. Several of my best friends are eagles fans and they are all really cool so it's definitely a case by case basis. My vote goes to Baltimore having the worst fans honestly, only been to one game there but it was riddled with assholes.
Only experience I have with Ravens fans is them coming to MetLife and most of them were civil. I don't think anyone holds a candle to Eagles fans regardless.
Actually not a terrible thing if he starts on the IR. Makes it easier for roster cuts for 53. Gives us a little more wiggle room.
