The Wilson thing is cute with his mentor and hero Rodgers here now. Stop the romance, he is pure shit. Anyone who thinks he has a chance as a future starting QB in this league is delusional. He has done nothing to show otherwise.

Makes for good offseason fodder but nothing more. I wouldn't trust him with the keys to the car in any regular season game.

Chances are we are gonna have to. I think it’s unlikely Rodgers plays all 17 games and Douglas didn’t bring in anyone else as backup

A lot of fans, many coaches and players might disagree with this, but hey, what do they know. This is the NFL, one thing we know for sure, teams will not protect anyone on the fifty three man roster if he has zero future. If he is so bad, let’s put him in the practice squad and see how long he lasts.

    back to Utah.
Watch it. Show me a video of Zach standing in the pocket, taking a hit a delivering strike down field between two receivers. He’s done it like 3 times in two years.

Then might as well get ready for next season.

This is basically his practice squad audition against mostly backups and practice players. He sure as hell ain't hitting it out of the park. Even that TD he threw last weekend was typical Zach after watching it again. He threw it off his back foot instead of just zipping it in there to a wide open WR. He also delayed for an extra split second for some unknown reason. For a second there I honestly thought the WR/TE would be out of bounds before Wilson got it to him. It was also a weak ass throw. Yes I am critiquing a TD because it just didn't even look good. He sure as hell doesn't have it. And what does the Jets offensive staff know? Not a whole lot if you're judging off the past few seasons and based on Hackett's track record. The only difference in this whole equation? A-Rodg. Unfortunately he can't throw the ball for Zach or give him his QB IQ. Zach just don't have "it".

thought Zach looked terrible again tonight. the more i see him the more i see he's not an nfl qb. we need to find a back up qb immediately.

dude plays scared, his feet are all over the place, and he put up 6 points against back ups, and not good ones at that.

time to move on from this guy...

Semantics from where I'm sitting. You sure like to nitpick. He didn't take responsibility = blame shifting/deflecting. Are you Ralebird's cousin or something? Even if you're agreeing you're niggling.

Bad showing from Zach tonight. Kyle Trask outplayed him clearly. Not really encouraging.

Me, I have a different take on Zach tonite.
Disclaimer: I haven't watched the game yet... only a few highlights.
Yes, there's happy feet, & all that stuff...
But that pass into tight coverage, to Lazard, was NFL quality.
    And that run, that's talent.
    He's a work in-progress, under a seemingly tight-leash.
    Lighten up! Zach certainly has.
Baby steps. He made no glaring errors... & a few highlights.
    Net positive.
    ...

An hour later... I just watched Zach's presser after the game tonite.
He seems to be understanding more about what his role as QB entails.
I've never seen him so serious, & cerebral... he's definitely ripening.
    His presser's here ------> https://www.newyorkjets.com/video/z...-conference-jets-vs-buccaneers-preseason-8-19

You don't have a clue. You're the one who is delusional, thinking you know more than Aaron Rodgers, Joe Douglas, NFL scouts, other players, former NFL QBs, and coaches who have praised his talent and ability

He had a good run that was off script. Few good throws. The one over the middle before the ends zone he threw late. Not a lights out game for him? Practice squad yes. Saving us if Roger's gets hurt. Lol

    Another blah performance

At this point you’d be hoping he’d light people up in the preseason

I agree with Brook, Trask looked better. Sad

That slant route early he missed to lazard just bothered me. He can't make the easy ones.
