Maybe Wilson's rich family could hire Adam Thelein as his hype man

Say what you want about Thilen, he’s right. For the first time in Wilson’s professional career the “monkey” has been taken off his back. Just play. Enjoy it. Maybe if he starts having fun and stops pressing he will reach something of the potential the team saw.

I’ll say this…IF Rodgers presence and tutelage can bring Zach to some semblance of QB respectability and can get that brain of his to match his immense physical talent we may have something! IMHO, THAT will be Rodgers greatest legacy. To be able to take, what is effectively a lost cause (Wilson), and turn him around to have a long and prosperous career in NY. Now wouldn’t that be a GREAT book/movie!

Crossing my fingers…. MAYBE Wilson is one of those that really did need to sit a couple years…? Hmmm

yeah Theilen is a good dude for sure.

I'm not holding my breath on your suggested outcome there though. If WIlson is to become any good it's on his shoulders not Rodgers'

Totally agree on that one. However, sometimes it takes a peer to help someone see the “forest through the trees.” Time will tell, but I would really like to NOT be hunting for another QB in a year or two.

Time will tell for sure. I remain optimistic. Seems a bit ironic the view by some fans that when Wilson looks good and shows good signs of improvement as noted by teammates, coaches and players from other teams , is “ I’m not holding my breath” or means nothing in preseason, but when he screws up on a play is proof positive he is not improving and never will.

Yes, it's known as "moving the goal posts". Because they've decided that Zach is a bust, and have based their reputation as "football experts" on that judgment, they can't possibly admit they might have got it wrong. And of course protecting their ego is way more important than rooting for Zach and the Jets to succeed.

Did Rodgers throw any INTs today? Oh yeah, he did. Probably just rookie mistakes.

Rodgers gets the benefit of the doubt. Multiple MVPs will do that for ya, life ain’t fair

The point is - not that you can grasp it - that even a QB with multiple MVPs can throw interceptions. And from what was reported that "ugly duck" by Zach was the only one he threw today while Rodgers threw a couple. Based on the way you and other Zach Haters assess things, we should bench Rodgers - maybe even trade or cut him - and start Zach or trade for some JAG.

don't try to put words into my mouth clown. I didn't say Wilson should be benched, he already is benched, and I certainly didn't say Rodgers should be

The weird thing about that clip is everyone looks like they're running 1/3 speed.

    The receiver wasn't even trying.

Something tells me you won't keep that stance when Rodgers throws a pick in the regular season

Once again your show your ignorance. The mistake was on Bawden or whomever was running that route. Zach was obviously throwing to a spot where the receiver was supposed to be. Interceptions like that happen all the time in the NFL when QBs are making timing throws and the receiver isn't where the QB expected him to be.

It was basically "keep your head up. Don't listen to the negative. Go out and have fun, blah blah blah."

Umm.. even if Bawden was there that one is going back for 6. Maybe he coulda desperately broken it up but that was a lazy stupid pass by the QB that never would've been completed
