Vasquez: Rodgers just got run into while trying to throw a deep pass. Went down, grabbed his left lower leg, but got up and stayed in for the next rep. He seems fine but that was a scary moment. #Jets Rodgers has been under pressure all day & was on that play, obviously. Had to throw up a pass that was picked by Jordan Whitehead. Rodgers went 0-for-5 on that series and has thrown 6 straight Inc - most of them while under pressure. A brutal day for the first-team offense.

Injured the right in OTAs. #Jets Rodgers stayed in for the remainder of the period. He threw three straight INCs after the calf clutch. Hughes: This has been a very, very rough practice for the #Jets starting offense. They went 3-and-out on both drive-the-field drills. Now Rodgers overthrows Hardman & is picked off by Whitehead. Poor protection isn’t helping. #NYJ I have #Jets QB Aaron Rodgers 7 of 15 passing with an interception. The #NYJ have had four drive-the-field drills. They resulted in three 3-and-outs and one interception. Rodgers nearly threw another, but Tony Adams dropped it. Protection is problem. Also just overall sloppiness. Zach Wilson is having a very good day. Maybe his best I’ve been in attendance for. Have him scoring twice on drive-the-field drills. Best throw was that one to Knight between two defenders. Subsequent red zone period much better. After a first-down sack, Rodgers found Michael Carter in flat for nice gain, then Garrett Wilson for a TD. I had Aaron Rodgers completing 10 of 21 passes. Some inaccuracy, some drops, a lot of pressure from the defense against a makeshift O-Line. On the flip side, Zach Wilson and the second team offense played extremely well — one of Wilson’s best practices of the entire summer. Vasquez: Practice is over. I had Rodgers at 10-of-21 for the day, dealing with a lot of issues all practice in pass protection. He finished 3-of-5 in the red zone on the final set of practice, so there’s that. #Jets
