Of course I am.. CJ blitzing QB's. CJ covering TE's crossing over the middle.. CJ tackling RB's for losses.. CJ with at least 5 fumble recoveries.. CJ being all world in '23!
Q!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love me some Q! All our division rivals just said Fuck! I have to face him again twice a season…Fuck me!
last season he was 2nd team all pro pro bowler 6th in solo tackles 4th in assisted tackles and graded well by PFF thats far from washed lol
I dont know how anyone can watch them play and not realize that Mosley is the unquestioned leader of that defense. The head and the heart. Lose him and see what happens dohh
We saved $4 million this year and now have $25.8 left to spend this year. I would bet majority of the restructured Rodgers deal is going to push money this year
Were now 70 million over next years cap so Rodgers must restructure in a big way. Like you said, they freed up money for this season which may have been part of the restructure hold up, so its got to be the next order of business.
He didn't pass the eye test. He tackles guys down field and could cover a mouse with a king size sheet. The pro bowl means dick. He best days are far behind him. And he's grossly overpaid.
Lose Q and see the impact. Lose Sauce and see the impact. Those guys mean a hell of a lot more to the defense than slower than molasses Mosley.
Where did you see that? I looked at Spotrac today, and they show the Jets at $20 million over the cap for next year, not $70 million. Next year is going to be very interesting. We will have 33 FAs including quite a few starters and key backups and both our P and K. Some, like Mosely, C. Davis, C. Lawson and others will just be allowed to walk and will help both the cap situation and towards getting comp picks. We won't be able to be big players in FA, so we should wind up with several comp picks in 2025. That won't help us next year, and I don't know how we're going to keep our own FAs. I have a feeling that a lot of this year's draft picks, UDFAs, and next year's draft picks and UDFAs are going to be counted upon next year. Even if Becton stays healthy and balls out, and the Jets want to keep him, I don't know how they'll be able to.
i mean since the pro bowl is 2/3rds picked by players and coaches (who watch a ton of film) and the all pro team is picked by the AP, thats means 75% of the people picking him are legit coaches, players, and sports writers and only 25% of it is fans so yeah I think the other players and coaches probably have a better eye for whats going on in the game then you do watched it from home. you could argue he's overpaid but by being 2nd team AP it would says he's top 4 at his position, and by being a pro bowlers you'd say top 6 so being in the 4-6 range and being as he's the 5th highest paid ILB by yearly average, the no he's really not. Fans like you are still harping on the fact that we signed him to a huge deal, he missed a season with injury, then missed a season for covid (chose to sit out) which pissed us all off, then in 2021 he had a not so good year but after missing 2 years it's understandable. but in a bubble on its own 2022 was a great year for mosley
5 TFL's 1 INT 1 Sack 3 QB hits 0 FF 94.2 passer rating when targeted in coverage And countless tackles 6+ yards from the line of scrimmage. He's a decent player but he's far from great and I think it only gets worse from here.
I'm glad it got done. I also remember how many people HATED the pick. Isn't it great to be wrong sometimes? I love to be wrong with this team, but I always say in a critical situation the Jets are gonna Jet and when they Jet I also always say why can't I pick fucking powerball numbers correctly instead.
