If it were up to you, the Rangers would skate 10 players every night.

Your expectations for a defenseman are wild. Lindgren is a good defenseman.

    Cut everyone
    Cut everyone
    Cut everyone
    Cut everyone
    Cut everyone
    Cut everyone
    Cut everyone
    Cut everyone
    Cut everyone

You're nonstop complaining about the SEVENTH defenseman.

It is “wild” to expect players to, I don’t know, actually play?

Lindgren clearly lacks the physical ability or the internal fortitude to play this sport. Either one, he should get lost.

Yet somehow you take valid criticism about lack of defensive depth as a call to cut the starting goaltender?

Bruins just beat the Canes 4-3. Canes were wearing the Whalers throwback uni's probably hoping they'd confuse the Bruins somehow.

Freaking Bruins just do not look beatable in a 7 game series. No way to get lucky 4 times out of 7.

They are the best defensive team I've seen in a while. When the puck is in the corner you have one Bruin there contesting it and one either a bit further up the boards in the offensive zone or a bit further to the net in the defensive zone. In the defensive zone the other three guys are lined up in the slot and there is nothing there on a cross ice pass at all and nobody is uncovered in the slot. Just amazing work in the defensive zone and they repeat it over and over again.

I get what you are saying, but sometimes thing just happen in the playoffs: Injuries, inability to handle the pressure, mental toughness. They are absolutely the favorites but I think a team with the experience of Tampa Bay, for example, has a chance against them.

Was fortunate enough to attend tonight’s game with incredible seats.
Easy opponent but got the job done as expected.

Lindgren fwiw we will need back healthy. Very sollid defenseman and will be needed for a playoff push. I’m confused by the criticism here.

@Br4d I am dead serious! This game is going to be a playoff preview. In all likelyhood, these two teams are gonna meet head-to-head, and there is actually something on the line in this game.

It could be an extra game in the Garden.

Saw Edmonton last night in Vegas.... when that team is clicking they're as good as anyone in the league. It was a clinic they put on. They dominated the neutral zone and even though McDavid was -1 on the night it's always fun when you can watch him live.

Rangers schedule unfortunately looks slightly harder than the Garden State Satans the rest of the way.

And that's no spam. . LGR . FTD

Agreed. The Devils have a slight advantage there, but it is not impossible.

Devils are going to be tough in the playoffs. Right now they have the Ranger's number.

This is not a year where I will be all that upset if the Rangers get bumped early. I think in that situation we probably need more of a structure coach than GG and might get that.

Also the Bruins are going to win the cup this year barring a miracle. You can make the argument that the 22-23 Bruins are the greatest team of all time.

Speaking for myself, of course, I am going to respectfully disagree with this, especially considering the offensive firepower they picked up at the trade deadline.

You saw what happened last night. Same thing would happen against the Bruins and possibly the Lightning also. The only team I am comfortable facing this year is the Canes because we have their number at this point.

And again, with all the investment made in the top two lines, it is disgusting how the defensive corps have been absolutely neglected, and the saddest part is that they have gotten progressively worse as a unit since my initial bitching about them earlier this season. Adam Fox, while still very good, is simply not the same player on both sides of the ice he was for the past two seasons. Since the spitting incident, K'Andre Miller is a shell of his former self, and I have no idea why. It is shocking to see him making mental errors on the ice, and frankly not hustling the way he used to. Ryan Lindgren lacks either the physical capabilities or the mental toughness to play professional hockey. Either way, he should retire this offseason. Mikkiola is playing like what he truly is: a throw-in player to make a major trade happen. Ben Harpur has as much business in the NHL as I do. Now, to my surprise, Trouba and Schneider are actually playing slightly better (Trouba should shoot from the point more), but their overall improvement is simple overwhelmed by the degradation of their defensive peers.

If this team gets eliminated early, can we finally focus on the area that is most lacking?
