    Any predictions?
This boards educated guesses are as good as any beat writers at this point.

I think Rodgers will be a Jet by tomorrow (official start of FA) and draft comp will not involve a first rounder.

    CD gets traded or cut.
    Jets sign Lazard.
And no to Lewis and Cobb.

Anyone else scratching their head wondering which free agents would prefer Moore was still on the team?

Not caring about other people's emotions or reactions because of your actions while reveling in how it makes you feel is called something. You can figure it out.

after the stupid wish list, fk arod, give him a timeline and if it doesn't happen move on.

    go after ljax or stafford.

don't get me wrong arod is still my first choice and will root for him if he's a jet but its getting stupid now

Ah, that makes sense, except Rodgers isn't a free agent. It would be easier if he was.

Guys, We cant trade for Rodgers until the 17th. You all need to relax.
It can not happen until the 17th. If we do it before, we need to clear $50+ mil. On or after the 17th, only $15.8 mil need to be free.

Rodgers is a Jet and you wont hear about it until Friday.

    Close your computers until Friday.

Correction: Rogers signed his new contract on March 15th, so no "official" negotiations or restructuring can happen before tomorrow. Assuming restructuring is part of the deal, no announcement can happen before then.

I feel like I saw on here or on Twitter today that contracts can't be re-structured until a year after they're signed. Not sure how true that is or not though.

Tomorrow happens to be the 1 year anniversary of Rodgers signing his new deal with the Packers, so if we get some news tomorrow, that would make sense.

And that's possible. All I know is that at least 365 days must pass before any contract can be officially renegotiated/restructured.

    Lazard & Cobb > Davis & Berrios

Unbelievable that at 32 years old Cobb had more than twice the receptions and yardage as Berrios.

They can confirm the deal is in place and that Rodgers will be a Jet. They just cant submit or announce any contract details until tomorrow.

Apparently it's Friday they can't submit because of Rodgers contract. Don't see why they can't announce it now though.

The entire league has been waiting for Rodgers to say he is going to be a NY Jet. He just never says it. Granted, it might take some practice.

So when its all well and done, after literally a week of freaking out and a lot of chagrin by the fans, coupled with a bunch of half us BS by the media in general, blaming it on AR as to why it is taking so long, AR not making up his mind, blah blah blah, we now finally come to grips with the reality that the contract can not be signed and agreed to till the 17th. God oh mighty, what a shit load to do about nothing by a whole bunch of media incomplete misinformation.
