Rogers can hold GB hostage, but he cant hold us hostage unless we allow it. Time to get it done or move on, enough of the drama queen antics. Get Stafford, get Mayfield, get Brisset, get Garrapolo - frankly I dont care. We just cant have our hands totally tied in FA awaiting on the prima donna.
Woah now buddy, I was just stating a fact. If Zach is our starter i am confident.......we will have the first pick in the next draft
A Carr like player, but 3 years older and now injury prone, plus need to spend picks unlike with Carr. Sucks to lose Carr in this scenario, but may still be the best option if available.
The passionate, competitive fan in me OF COURSE wants Rodgers under center. But, there is a very small part of me that wants this fall apart and we being left with nothing because of the incompetence of the ownership and front office.
At this point, we HAVE to wait on Rodgers. He's the only semi-realistic option for us now to significantly improve our QB situation.
Almost as if it was a really bad idea to put all your eggs in the basket of a guy that notoriously doesn't give a shit about anyone other than himself.
The most concerning thing to me is, how committed can he be if he's still unable to make a decision as free agency has already begun playing out and QBs are on the move? This makes me worried he doesn't want to be here and I'd worry even if comes, he might flake and retire this offseason. Of course, this is just my feeling, but he's giving me (and reportedly some on the team), a bad impression right now. Reminder this guy said he doesn't want to hold anybody or anything else up and he's doing just that now. It's not like we as fans wanted an answer, he's not following through on his words.
Crazy that the entire QB market moved on without giving two shits about Aaron Rodgers but the WR market is at a standstill.
