I am shocked we’re still here at this stage of the game It’s a pretty fucked state … free agency discussions are already being had … I do trust JD to not be a moron and I’m hoping that either a deal is done or else he’s already talking to other options, but yeah, the longer this drags the more it sucks. It would be nice to have a player who actually wants to be here, and if that’s the holdup, I’d say fuck it and move on already. Again, with the total lack of legitimate info it’s hard to know what exactly the holdup is, but either way this doesn’t bode well…
I really think people would remember the OROY and DROY in the same draft more than the other stuff, but I'm not saying he would have his choice of jobs. I think he would get a GM job, though.
It may be that the reason for the hold up is that AR wants the Jets to get a couple of his favorite players from GB too.
All I am saying is, if it's truly important for Rodgers to play, he can come to the Jets and play. If it's more important to get paid, he can get paid in GB, even if they don't want him. GB does not have an option to say we don't want you and won't pay you.

That's possible, but then GB gets absolutely nothing for him. I think they'll hold onto him even if he sits the bench for them - he's worth more that way than an outright release.
Even though I knew Rodgers would be a diva, I honestly thought we would have heard something by now. He clearly doesn't want to be here folks. Even if he agreed to it now I'd pull the offer. This is not a person that wants to lead us anywhere, or to anything but the front page of the gossip section. I wouldn't waste another second counting on him and would be moving quickly with whatever plan "B" I had.
