For what it's worth my post isn't political at all and I think these kinds of discussions around Rodgers are valid and will happen regularly if we end up with him. Unfortunately. I'll leave other posters out of it though. My bad.
I think at 39 he needs to figure out what JDs plans are with the offensive line. Rodgers had dealt with shifting lines before and he’s a master at calling the defenses correctly, but he needs some stout coverage to take this team to the next level. I would go further and say they should trade for Hopkins if he’s available as he won’t cost as much given his age, and he’s an amazing safety valve, and that red zone threat we have never had. would make the offense unstoppable.
I don't like the optics of the owner and half the front office flying across the country to kiss the ass of a player. I like the idea of Rodgers as a Jet... but it seems a bit thirsty on our part.
I think what @dawinner127 is alluding to is the fact that the Jets won't wait weeks/months. They need to know the direction of this team by this weekend. If need be, they pivot to Jimmy G or another lower tier option. But they are NOT going to sit around and wait.
Amazing time we live in where being “pro-science” is considered a political comment. I’d call someone an idiot but that probably can be construed as a comment on the consistent underfunding of the dpt of education.
Panthers owner David Tepper present at meeting with free agent Derek Carr (yahoo.com) Pathetic clown show in Carolina.
He was so great at convincing Peyton Manning to enter the draft after his junior year. He's a helluva recruiter.
Yeah but the mods created this. Banning people and then going back on that ban for example Now they have a moving standard with “politics” that is impossibly hard to maintain
Are you also implying the lame, rubish 1-9 excuses provided in response to determine he is a drama queen are however important. Most of those are laughable at best.
I think they’d almost have to go lower. Someone who can easily get sent to the bench should Rodgers agree to come later. At this point Woody is all in. It’s been reported that the reason they let Carr go to the Saints is because they wanted Rodgers above all else. There’s no way Rodgers decides in a month he wants to come and Woody says “no thanks”
I don't know. I mean free agency starts Monday. They need to know their salary cap structure by then. They can't go out and not sign a bunch of guys in the hope that AR decides he wants to play here. We'll know this team's direction by Saturday or Sunday.
I don't understand how anyone could even need a list to determine that Aaron Rodgers is a drama queen. That's very evident to the naked eye.
