Mac Jones isn't a name, but he got the RTP. If Mac Jones was in a Jet uniform? no call. Just the way it is..
That's because Belichik would have climbed the Ref like a horny badger if he didn't throw the flag. Nothing like the thought of having HoF weasel grinding on your leg to make you get the flag out and throw it.
and having a proactive owner like Kraft helps too. We have neither a HOF bound HC nor a Owner that matters.
Again, there are 11 teams represented on the competition committee. There are 32 teams in the NFL. Is it any wonder why Jets fans are labeled as whiney pussies? Honestly, it's hard to stick up for us.
I wonder if he ever washes that thing...Its still crispy white after all this time.. That tie could use a vacation too...
Breer said the Jets are considering bringing Geno back. Please let this be Breer's own speculation and not a source. Geno never struck me as having the makeup for the big city. 1 good season over 9 years, he's better off staying in Seattle. Not a chance I'd like to take.
Rodgers will cost draft capital and $60M in salary in 2023. Yeah sure, sounds like a serious bargain for a 40 year old QB who could not even muster one measly 300 yard passing game in 2022 and only went over 255 yards passing once. And to make matters worse, AR underachieved while playing in a division with some of the worst defenses in the league. No wonder the Packers are desperate to unload him to any dupe that comes along, although they will never say it. Not exactly ideal, but Tannehill is experienced, less expensive and does not lock you in to four or five years like a Carr does. With regards to the competition committee, I remember when Don Shula was on it forever, while being an ineffective coach for the last 20 years of his career who only went to one Super Bowl with the premiere QB of the era. Before there was Bill Bellicheat, there was Don Shula, who along with the NFL screwed the Jets in the Mud Bowl. It seems like the purpose of the competition committee is to makes sure that some teams never compete. All a part of how the NFL does business.
In other words Jets are interested in any available QB with a pulse, unfortunately when the smoke clears, we'll be fortunate to get Jacoby Brissett in a Jets uniform
This is what I'm clinging to so I'm not let down when they roll out Vinny off his couch in Long Island for one last ride.
I guess I would go with Carr. He wouldn't cost you any draft picks and he probably gets you in the playoffs the next couple years. Doubt we'd even sniff a Super Bowl but a couple of straight years in the playoffs would be hella better than what we had the last 13 years. Rodgers seems like he'd be a massive headache, maybe not the best teammate for the youngsters and would cost too much draft capital.
