Let’s go get the guy as an offensive coordinator then. He clearly analyzed all of the offensive strengths of that team. The organization might not have much of a choice but to clean house with everything they fucked up with Tua’s concussions though. It might be more about saving face on that front than anything else that happened on the field performance wise.

When you lose out at the end of the season to miss the playoffs you are failing at the job of being a head coach in the NFL. A huge percentage of the coaches who have lost 3+ games at the end of the season and missed the playoffs due to that have been fired as a result. You might get another season going from 4-9 to 4-12 but if you go from 8-5 to 8-8 and miss out it is a really bad look.
