The coach, OC, and DC are fine. The QB is an abomination.

agreed, although it is missing two of the key pieces to that rebuild.

The organization sucks from the top down. Everything else devolves from there.

The main problem is that the non-Streveler offense is built around the quarterback throwing the ball.

I’m with you on this in theory, but I think Zach’s just too small to play a real run heavy option game until he can get his QB chops up. And the Jets have some skill players now that wouldn’t thrive in the scheme.

Please inform us, what should the offense look like to accommodate Zach Wilson? Let's hold his fucking hand every step of the way and pretend like this team hasn't already tried many different things to get his dumbass to be productive.

"What do you need Zach? You need WRs to run routes that will allow for GIANT separation from the defender... No problem!"

"Oh, right, you can't hit open receivers. Ok. Ok."

"How about we do a bunch of easy routes, easy throws, screens, flats, crossers, slants, etc... Get you In a rhythm! Yeah!"

"Oh, right, your feet work Is shit, you suck at anticipation throws, and you literally can't hit a OPEN FUCKING RECEIVER... Cooooooolllll...."

"Oh, what's that? You want us to just play backyard football every play? Yeah?"

How the fuck do you scheme that?

There Is PLENTY OF STATS to show that It's in fact a God Damn QB problem and not an offensive problem, considering the offense has looked just fucking fine with every QB that has played the damn position this season not named, Zach "The Bust" Wilson.

The excuses are done. Now you just sound desperate.

You can't seriously think you are going to convince a bunch of fucking NYJ fans at this point that this team hasn't tried to cater to this kid?

They have. He simply can't do the basic fucking requirements that you need to do, to play the position.

He can't read a defense, worst part, he struggles both pre-snap and post-snap. He can't throw the ball accurately at any level to save his fucking life. He can't see the field In a way that allows him to stay within the pocket and assess what's available to him In a timely manner, and because he can't read the field he holds on to the ball far too long, that more times than not results In another negative fucking play. His foot work Is atrocious. His vision Is non-existent. His mechanics are fucked. His side arm shit Is desperate. He's not even a great mobile QB.

The fact that you can't see the fucking evidence and still have the balls to push your narrative leads me to believe you are delusional or just trolling.

Its just unfathomable that you could possibly have this as a sincere conclusion for yourself and others on this board.

I am literally dumber for reading your drivel and responding to It. I am at the end of this post knowing, this was a waste of my time, I took the bait, but I'm already committed.

    Fuck man...

Running with ZW isn't going to accomplish much but increase his injury chances.

If he can run an RPO that is a better option as the QB generally does not keep the ball in that situation, handing it off or pulling it back and passing if the key is right. The best option is likely to be something out of the 70's, run heavy and striking vertically off of play action.

The real issue is that ZW does not have the breadth of skills necessary to run a modern NFL offense. We're kind of stuck with an older archetype or maybe a real Air Raid that is always one read and that relies mostly on pre-snap determinations.

The idea the Jets are changing the Coach or GM is mindless. The roster is set to win. They may have the rookies of the year on both sides of the ball. The coach improved in his second year. Now, it’s time to make a decision at Qb. Year 3 should pay dividends

The biggest failure is leadership on this team. Defense has no strong leaders. Who is the leader, Mosley? His is completely disciplined. Everyone from fans to media to coach’s to l,Ayer’s have their scapegoat, no doubt he earned it, but if that is the only problem you see, and they don’t fix this leadership, accountability void, then it will be just like the last 12 years going forward.

La.CC and the rest of you ZW supports, I respect all of your posts but com on... when he was benched, you saw the OL play better...why? ZW demoralizes his teammates, irrespective of their public comments...you see it in their play. The guy is just bad period and he was not helped by the OL.

If last nights embarrasment, and I am not saying its all on him, isn't enough to convince you he is not the solution but a very large part of the problem...then I don't know what else you need to convince you.

I fault the HC for not having this team prepared esp. in a Natl telivised forum... Jax did what Cin did, throw quick passes to allievate the rush and the DCS had no answers... then to boot, they know the QB can run but never put a spy on him...WTF!

I am not disgusted as I should be... the CS is OJTing it with good and bad results....There is talent on this team but we need more and a comptent QB, if that is MW great, if not get someone please,,, I actually turned off the TV, 1st time ever...think about that.

How the hell is the OC supposed to call plays for a player so limited in talent. Zach is worse than the worse starting QB's in NFL history. Go back and see how challenging it was for the Raiders to call plays for JaMarcus Russell.....

Watching the plays we ran with Streveler should put to bed any arguments that MLF isn't willing to adjust his scheme for the QB. The problem is there isn't a scheme in the world that can make Zach look good.

I will say that I was disappointed in MLF play calls late in game on 3rd and 4th down and short. Why not roll Strev out for an option? The last 8 plays or so had Strev stand in the pocket--why?

Some fans think our PO push ended last night. You are so wrong!

It ended the moment Bryce Hall and Vera-Tucker went on IR

    In 5 years:

"Zack....you can't put that many cans into one paper bag"

"Oh right...I got to be better"

True enough but that QB needs to throw the ball in order to execute game plan. Z Flubb can’t seem to do that.

The OL needs to be bolstered and deep.

    Breece has to stay healthy.

    We need a competent QB.

We need to upgrade at LB.

It’s a lot but it can all be addressed between FA and the draft.
