It's too bad Kurt doesn't post here anymore. He was right when it came to Creed Humphrey.

A silver lining is that if they wanna go forward with MW, his injury will save them $ ... they can have a starting QB for 2-3 yrs without investing lots of money in the position. That's always a plus. So they can secure Quinnen long term.
Agree that Lawson isn't worth what he's getting paid. Mosely seems prime for a restructure.

McGovern isn’t bad but he’s not great. I just never understood why we didn’t pursue a developmental mid-round option to eventually replace him. Having a good to great center is incredibly important for a young QB. I’m sure Justin Herbert and Jalen Hurts would agree.

LB CJ Mosley slid across the field to cover absolutely nobody and allowed the Madden Creation TE to release on a simple short crossing pattern. All this when the Lions needed a TD to score, with a FG doing them no good. Two weeks in a row Mosley gets the defensive bonehead play of the week award. Time to draft some LBs, in addition to OL and Special Team help. 5-3.

He's played 24 quarters over 7 games. In that span he has amassed 1905 yards passing. He has made 261 pass attempts.

Normalized over a full season, which is 68 quarters, this turns into 5,397 yards passing on 740 pass attempts.

So what other QB do you think can put up numbers like that? The raw production is insane.

Now this is at least partly because Mike LaFleur turns into a teenage cheerleader when White is on the field and calls way too many passing plays. However most guys when pressed like this would be unable to get the pure yardage that White gets passing on 70% or so of the downs he is on the field. They just wouldn't be able to thread that many passes in between defenders constantly looking for the pass.

You’re projecting a Hall of Fame career which includes engineering one of the greatest offenses of all time that kept it’s consistency over three straight seasons. That’s nutty.

You're looking at the beginning of a potential Hall of Fame career and discounting it because the guy doesn't pass the eye test for you.

Again, who do you think can do what White has done given the volume of throws he has made with an iffy OL in front of him?

What did they do in the first 24 quarters of their career?

Warner. He's the guy. The *only* guy.

Not saying White is Warner but Warner is the only reasonable comp for mid-career guy getting a chance and putting up those numbers.

Nah, that’s still pretty dumb. We’ve watched plenty of journeymen put up huge numbers without being Kurt Warner. Nick Foles ring a bell? He averaged 260 yards per game in 2013 with a 27/2 TD/INT ratio in 2013.

Heinicke, Tannehill, Fitzpatrick, Geno this year, etc. they threw for less yards but they also weren’t on teams that demanded they threw the ball 55 times a game. The Jets have just ran the modern day air raid with White and while he’s put up some pretty numbers, it hasn’t yielded extremely positive results in the win column as gimmicky offenses usually don’t.

With all that in mind, I hope he turns into Kurt Warner. He’s pretty accurate with the rock and understands how to read defenses. But planting the flag you’re planting is dumb and you know it is.

    The path...

    1. Brock Purdy shits the bed the rest of the season.
    2. Niners show renewed interest in Zach and JD gets a haul in a trade.
    3. Giselle sells Brady's old playbook from the Pats to LaFleur in an act of spite.
    4. LaFleur learns how to turn an immobile QB into a legit playmaker.
    5. White leads the Jets to the first of 6 straight Superbowl victories.

The Pats beat us twice yet lose to the Raiders, Bears, Packers all trash teams go figure. We shoulda demolished the Patriots both games this season, thanks Zack and Saleh.

1- Oline. 2- LB. 3- O-Coordinator. Then let's see if QB is needed in the following draft. Drafting QB with this Oline is a waste of a pick.
Jets have the worst Oline and worst LB corps in the NFL. Might have the worst QB room too, but don't know becuase of the Oline failings.

No more drafting Qb's for this organization they have clearly shown they can't draft a Qb or Develop one, bust after bust after bust, Sanchez atleast had glimpses. Hackenberg, Wilson, Darnold looked hopeless. See if Mike White is the guy and if not next Qb who wants to be traded mortgage the future for him. Tired of having shitshows for Qb's

Next year Mike White will be gone, we’ll be starting Minshew or some other half measure at QB to compete with Zach, which won’t be a competition at all if the team is honest. We’ll be mediocre enough miss out on the next great QB. We’ve been here before, folks. Let’s not pretend things will ever change.

I can’t relive another rookie QB. Since Chad, its been Clemons, Sanchez, Geno, Hackenburg who we never saw, Darnold and the worst one was Zack. Thats just 1st and 2nd rounders and Mike White has been better then every single one of them

At least there Is a statistical basis for the opinion.. There Is more of an argument for pro MW fans, than your stance with this journeyman shit. I've seen plenty of journeyman QB's, I don't feel that way when I watch MW play football. Dude makes some really high level throws EVERY game he plays.. He's cerebral, accurate, a leader...

There Is nothing to point to that sounds like a logical argument against the kid. You are trying hard to insert X_Journeyman Into your argument and the comparison doesn't make sense. It's not the same at all.

Dude has great production, offense puts up the numbers, he looks night/day better than any other QB we have on the roster... Yet, here we are, throwing shit against the wall In an attempt to discredit the kid.

    ..and, for what?

It's the same dumb argument too.. Where people are confidently pointing to the W-L column with confidence, knowing the sample size Is way to fucking low. He's 2-4.. Not ideal but also not a big enough sample size either.

It's not dumb to see the stats, watch the games, see how the team reacts around MW, and draw the conclusion that the kid may just have something to him when It comes to playing QB In this league.

There Is literally not a lot you can point to that soundly dismisses the case to give the kid the proper chance he deserves.

Oh well though, we shall see where this goes.

MLF Isn't going anywhere. Saleh Isn't going anywhere. ZW likely Isn't going anywhere.

I guess nobody Is going to be happy this offseason.
