well said...but Im not so sure camp is going to be easier. Mangini is always talking about progress progress progress, I dontthink he runs the risk of slacking a bit here...I also think there are going to be a fair amount of changes again, bringing in more "first time mangini camp" guys......I htink camp stays the same so Coles needs to shut up about it or beat it

I don't know about other years, but Beli gave Brady, Seymour and the vets a ton of off-days this year.

Yep. Maybe Coles got used to Camp Marshmallow, he can re-unite with Reverand BBQ if he thinks that's what training camp should be like. I don't worry too much about what he says though, Mangini will give him some leeway, but if Coles crosses the line he will be slapped down and then traded to Detroit, because they can never have too many WRs.

I'm also willing to bet, next years camp ins't as tuff on the guys who come back. It was a little more that way this year to weed out the S$%T Birds and malcontents... people who didn't fit for those who need defintions...

im not suprised...Coles is notorious for complaining. I do hope he will gut it out...he had such a good season, and won alot of fans over...hopefully this isnt the end.

I heard the comment. I don't feel it is a big deal.
Coles is just frustrated that the season ended. He's a loner who doesn't hold his tongue. Him popping off once in a while is to be expected.
Now, if he demands a trade or asks for a new contract, then I'll worry.

I agree, I think that was to make sure that this wasn't Herm's Camp, to see who doesn't fit and who should be considering another team's offer soon.

About that hit. Foxboro does such a terrible job with replays, stats, etc..........was it helmet to helmet? It looked like it. If so, Coles is going to have to go out one game and drag a guy down by his facemask, or take out someones knee because it's getting ridiculous already with guys going helmet to helmet on him. He has to make guys have second thoughts about messing with him or his career is going to be over real soon.

    WAIT A MINUTE!!

I just saw the interview and I never heard him say "Mangini".

He said training camp and seemed as if he's getting tired and thinking in terms of a year or 2 more before retiring....

I think Coles is just tired from a long hard season. So i am inclined to give him a pass on this comment. But with that said if he continues to mouth of and be a malcontent why not contact the raiders and do a Randy Moss - Coles trade.
If the jets are going to have a headache on the team why not have a better player in Randy Moss.

Any of you guys ever had your bell rung. Serious ever had a concussion before? It ain't no picnic. I have had a bunch from Hockey.

For one it fucks you up, makes you tired and irritable. That is with milder ones. Strong concussions, you puke constantly and have vertigo bad head aches and such.

The one problem is the more you get, the more you are susceptible to them and your side effects get worse.

Give the guy some time. I am willing to give him a pass. He took some serious shots this year. This guy is one tough SOB. Really who cares that he hates training camp. I know one thing TC or no TC this bastard will go across the middle and catch a pass.

    Not a big deal imo.

That's not worse than stuff he's been saying all season. And it didn't seem to bother anyone, or detract from his play this year.

you missed the other sound clip bro. although I will admit he didnt say mangini, he said "his training camp".......then whoever was doing the 20/20 update on the FAN, said that he also said only a superbowl victory would have made that camp worth it....I can assure you, thats what was said
