All Wilson had to do was get the Jets in field g range a couple of times last week. Meaning the 45. Just another way the Jets could've won without him doing much of anything except stand there.
White is a really good QB. We need to stick with him for the rest of the season to see what we have. we know Zach is shit…. It we may have a gem here.
This Is what the QB position and this offense can look like with competent QB play... I've been saying It constantly.. MLF was not the problem.
Mike White is a star level distributor in this type of offense. Whether it holds up in really bad weather is unclear. Sitting him for anything but an injury at this point would be like sitting Kurt Warner in 1999 because Trent Green (the injured starter) was ready to come back.
I really think the reason they didn’t want to start White early on in the season was to avoid a QB controversy. They probably knew Mike was better but it would’ve made the regime look bad for taking him #2.
If White's second half is anything like his first, he should start next week for sure. But to put a little damper on this, the Bears defense is really bad.
