2022 NFL Week 12 - Around the League

Not gonna be easy. Jefferson is a monster but, I bet Sauce and Reed can handle him.

 

If any tandem in the NFL can it would be those two….

 

I've been meaning to post about this since I saw him do it multiple times in the first patriots game, and he did it again today against the Vikings, but Mac Jones is the biggest NFL flopper I can remember.

Not only does he dramatize anytime a defender contacts him even slightly, he actively attempts to create contact situations just so he can flop and try to draw a flag.

It's wild how adept he is at it, too.

 

Man.. a houston upset would be something this weekend.

It's an accepted part of the game now the way flopping is a part of the NBA game. Apparently none of our QBs are ever taught to use it, though.

 

You'd almost think a cheating franchise would practice the dark arts.

The Houston upset is probably too much to ask, but a Titans win over the Bengals is very possible, and would be very big, since the Bengals have the tie-breaker.

 

As long as NE and the Chargers keep losing the Jets will be fine as far as playoffs. The Bengals are better than both of those teams as are the Jets. The two losses to NE had to do more with strategy than talent.

If they both can find a way to lose 3 more games the Jets can lose 3 more and hang on to a playoff berth regardless of the Bengals.

They both have interesting schedules left. NE still plays Buffalo twice, the Bengals and Miami. The Chargers have Tennessee, Miami, and the finale in Denver. I don’t see too many gimmies on either schedule.

 

NE will beat Buffalo next week. The bills were already playing practice squad players and now they just lost von Miller, dion Dawkins and their starting corner Benford. Keep in mind they’re already down Hyde, Rousseau, Edmunds, Epenesa, Mitch Morse, and so on. Bills can barely accomplish anything on offense or defense. Oh, and Josh Allen has a torn tendon in his throwing elbow lol. Would be a miracle if the bills could somehow outlast Belichick in this one.

 

Yeah, that wasn't going to happen. Miami is quite possibly the best team in the NFL right now, unfortunately.

 

Sammy has only been a touch above mediocre, but still he's been so much better than Russell Wilson. Wilson really looks totally washed.

 

Justin Tucker never misses - 4/4 today, for all of Baltimore's points.

 

Russell Wilson would be fine if they ran his offense. It's the only one he can run but he runs it really well.

 

Wirfs carted off the field for Bucs after getting hurt in OT.

 

Browns gonna take down the Bucs unless the refs get their act together already.

 

Browns beat Tommy Boy and Bucs in OT.
