If they trade for somebody, it should be Laremy Tunsil. OL is a problem and don't think they have a long term solution at LT on their roster. Plus, Houston could use a young, cheap WR...

Jack Conklin is another one. Moore might be a fit for them also

You put Chubb with Lawson, Q and JFM and that is one crazy pass rushing DL. Lawson is near the top of the chart on pass rush win rate and he likely will not be fully recovered until next year. Not sure how you pay everyone here. Q will likely get a new contract, Lawson looks like a bargain and unless he gets hurt will be back. Maybe JFM will be cut next year?

Our defense is pretty scary right now. Add in Chubb and no matter how bad the offense plays we stand a chance.

But, it is hard for me to see us going all in on this year. JD and RS talk about long term sustainability and not sure this trade fits with that. JDs aggressiveness always surprises me.

Jack Conklin ----- NO WAY. Guy has an injury history that doesn't warrant trading any serious draft picks for.

Pick him up FA with a $ pay as you go contract, = maybe.

I mean, players always choose us over Miami, don’t they?

I don't see us handing out big contracts to both Q and Chubb next season.

Until NJ re-writes its state income tax laws, yes.

Absolutely not. The only kind of GM who would make that trade for this team is an idiot or someone who thinks he'll get fired if he finishes the year with a losing record, so he doesn't care about the pick.

    This is BAFFLING to me.
You see him run down that guy all the way from being on right side of line?
Hes a TRUE DE too, size strength. I thought they'd let him rip yesterday...NOPE.

i might be in the minority but i can see this happening. Edge with size to be our version of a Bosa. I say this liking what i have seen from JJ and Clemons.

id be worried about the injury history though

Yeah, I don't see this happening. We have bigger issues than the pass rush.

This one is a non starter for us at many levels. Now on to a Tackle to strengthen our OL. A much need priority.

I would rather go after Tunsil than Chubb.

Tunsil or Conklin, for starters would be a massive long term upgrade.

There were rumors about Justin Pugh or Cameron Erwin as well. Thought on that?

I would rather not be a buyer this year. Even if we make the playoffs I don't expect much. Next year is the year we should have a better opportunity to make noise. I would much rather be a seller. Mimms, Moore, Flacco, White, one DL (Curry, JFM, Rankins, Hall and anyone else that could bring us draft picks. This team has pretty strong depth especially at CB, WR and DL. Let's stock up on draft picks for next year. It might not send the best message to the team but JD should be looking long term not trading assets for just this year. Now if we can get a long term LT like Tunsil that would be something to consider and likely much better than any contribution form 2nd round pick.Given our history of second round picks we should consider trading every 2nd round pick from now on.

This team needs a QB. Until we have one we can’t be trading away 1st round picks.
