Saleh needs to step in and ride on MLF ass hard. I don’t give a shit he is related to his best friend. He is way over his head, and has too big an ego.
Exactly. It's the same thing every week the majority of the passes go to Davis, maybe Berrios and Carter and hand off to Hall. Today was particularly egregious. And that's how they end up with EM calling to be traded. Saleh needs to speak with LaFleur, it's just a complete waste.
He calls the plays. Maybe the problem is Zach gets too comfortable throwing to the same receivers. Saleh, LaFleur someone has to correct this.
I think I get your point, but it's worded in a way that makes you look like a Zach apologist. MLF needs to get more people on offense involved, period. We lost Hall and he chose not to run the ball at all. It doesn't matter the 4th and we had to throw more, he abandoned it immediately. He also has 0 idea of when to use empty backfield. It's almost JV. Since he's been OC he seems to struggle to get multiple people involved on offense. Thats on Zach too, but I'm not sure we've seen two receivers have a good game in one game.
Certainly. There have been several games with a variety of receivers making plays. But, Zach has a habit of zeroing in on one or two. The bottom line it's gotta get fixed. Either LaFleur expands the pass options, Saleh speaks to LaFleur or Zach gets his act together.
I do, & his QB coach. I'll let the QB coach explain (from a NY Post article last week)... So, it seems Zach is being trained to lock in on his number one, then gets flustered when number one is covered, since bad things start happening, when you step outside the system. That said, I didn't want the Jets to draft Zach, but in fairness to him, he's being sold a bag of crap by his coaches... crap in, crap out.
Spot on. believe his career is being derailed by piss poor coaching with zero experience in QB development.
Couldn't agree more. The untimely death of Kap was the nail in the coffin for us. Not only he would have helped Zach immensely, he would have helped MLF even more, the smart kid that just doesn't know how much he doesn't know yet.
The certain WR had a very good game yesterday, non with standing a sorry ass excuse for a game plan and completely sub optimizing players strengths.
Jets coach Robert Saleh said Denzel Mims has "absolutely" earned a role in this offense even when Corey Davis comes back from injury. He had high praise for his performances saying that injuries open the door for others and Mims has "grabbed the bull by the horns"
