As the Yankees continually just lay there, pounded face down into the sand and doing nothing of it... Every Playoff Every Year
Well that ALCS sucked. Overall a great year, but the ending was brutal. Not sure where the Yankees go from here. So many directions are possible.
I couldn't watch two 3-4 hour games in one day and I picked the Jets because the Yankees just became a brutal watch. Thanks for the fun season Judge hope you come back, but honestly wouldn't be shocked if you don't. I can already envision a Cashman presser where he tells us the contract judge turned down as well as the "honor of being a Yankee captain" like that has monetary value. Get another outfielder, greatly improved at short, revamped bullpen and another starter and the Yankees look good again. My pipedream would be DFA Donaldson and trade Torres but I don't see either happening.
Let me preface this by saying I AM NOT HERE TO TROLL — this is obviously the biggest story of the off-season in New York.
It would be such a horrible business decision to let Judge go. He's the heart and soul of the team. He's the reason you go watch the Yankees play. The blowback would be immense. Whatever he is offered, the Yankees should match.
Agree 1 million %. If they lose Judge what the hell is plan B? I can’t even fathom what Cash would do. I will say this though — if they are out bid it won’t be because of cashman. That’s all Hal. He’s the one who is signing off on this potential contract offer.
At this point in time, I don’t expect him back with the Mets so definitely possible. He’s prob going to want 4 or 5 for 160-200. I’m honestly not sure he’s shown enough to warrant that contract.
What's plan B if you lose him? I think Scherzer is near the end of his shelf life. He wore down towards the end of the year and I don't see that changing.
